Informed by 18,000 interviews and bold insight from neuroscientists Sai Gaddam and Ogi Ogas, this groundbreaking study will likely rock many people’s perceptions of what stimulates males and females. The surprising results not only demonstrate people’s needs, but the needs of people’s mates as well.

This book is a must read for everyone curious to understand "why" men and women act the way they do in regards to sex and romance. This book is a fascinating exploration in to many different subjects that are foreign to most. Even chapters that don't relate to ones own personal experiences are captivating. You get to understand the thought process behind being male, female, straight, gay, and why you/they look at the sexual content you/they do. Exceptional book. Listened to twice.
Using Internet search histories and industry practices to explore and explain human sexuality is a great idea, and this book is a fun tour through the diverse and curious forest of human sexuality and thought. I learned a lot about general tastes and things in the world that have often surprised me, helping me to notice things in the world I had not noticed before, such as the way women will slip into and out of desire, how many men are into feet and what the deal is with straight porn showing so many "chicks with dicks" and hentai.
A slightly simplified but ultimately kind look at the diversity of human desire, with some speculation on how and why it is that way. A good read to understand more of oneself and to look with mercy on the weird tastes of our fellow, two and three-legged pervert: A fun romp.
I don't know if all the theories presented in this book are true but the ride getting to them was sure interesting! Packed full of information about things that have perplexed me for years. And I liked that the authors paid as much attention to information concerning "normal" pornography as well as "abnormal" tastes. Well rounded. If the explosion of internet porn has ever perplexed you or you have asked yourself, "Why would anyone want to look at that?" this is the book for you.
Men are simpleminded creatures who just want to "aim and fire" at a anything that moves, and women are always analyzing things with their inner detective, craving romance and real commitment. I have now spared you a credit much better spend somewhere else. From analyzing a whole lot of porn, Internet searches, and picking and choosing research, these blokes decided that they are actually capable of making up nonsense theories based on crack pot ideas of how it might have been to be a caveman. Go back and study some actual biological anthropology, then talk to some actual scientists about how science works, then rewrite it please. The idea is really good. But it's a little like putting on green glasses, and then proclaiming the world green.
I've always been a great wingman, a great opener for single friends, and even help friends that didn't know they were gay...find themselves. I just didn't know what I was doing... I was a Natural. I've been drawn to this study most recently because of tests I'd been performing for the last few years in chat rooms. If used properly and without abuse... This book holds the statistical advantage for understanding the bindings people have with their so called "free will"... We know less about who and what we are than we realize.
I wasn't exactly sure what to expect but this book is fascinating, funny and insightful. If you're even mildly interested is sexual desire, the psychology of sex, sexual preference this book will be time well spent.
I was compelled by the specific research the authors conducted and learned. This was interesting for sure. I was disheartened by the loose connection to sexual scripts and social understanding of sexuality with the research. The data might not support cultural norms as sometimes proposed. Still it's a book I would recommend for those interested in human sexuality.
sure, if someone is interested in learning about how the female and male brains view sex and pornography
the voice was monotone and a little boring at times, but given the subject matter it probably was the right choice.
This book was not worth the time I spent listening to it! I must admit that I purchased the book based off the title. That is the worst mistake I have ever made! If you want to listen to a book about type of internet porn people like to view then this book is for you.
