War World Z is the bomb audio book

If you are someone who loves zombies and a great story line, then this is the book for you. It tells how "zombie" outbreak accounts happen around the entire globe. I never wanted to stop listening. I Listened to the entire audio book in two days. It is full of heart throbbing, edge of your seat, chilling, horrific, and gory accounts. I love it and I approve this book.

Wasn't expecting that

was coming in expecting a nomad post apocalypse world, got a tale of humanity instead. wasn't dissapointed

Great book

Loved it. Kept me occupied for four hours each night for three nights as I vacuumed classrooms, mopped hallways, and cleaned toilets. It made me think. I was sad when it ended

The Best Title in my Library

I've listened to this, end to end, at least five times. I'm not a big horror fan, but Max Brooks builds a story where Zombies represents the things we're afraid of and makes a deep dive into how Americans deal with it.

There's more than one kind of hero, and Max Brooks explores all of them.

Brad Pitt, what the hell?

Hey Brad Pitt, the next time you decide to make a movie out of a masterpiece book, read it first. Except for the title, WWZ, there are no simularities between the crappy movie and the book. Max Brooks, I'm so sorry. I hope Pitt gets eaten soon.

Awesome

This was amazing!!! Great performances by all!! Can't wait till the next World War Z movie. This book gives a realism to the zombie lore.

Better than the movie

I read the book years ago, and held off on watching the movie. When I finally did, I wasn't disappointed because I counted the movie as a story in the book. What I wished was that they made it into a mini series, like Band of Brothers. Listening to the book is a whole treat on its own. The performances gave the characters more life and depth then my imagination could. I felt more of what Brooks was trying to convey.
