Publisher's summary

Atticus O’Sullivan is back in an all-new, action-packed, laugh-out-loud novella from the author of The Iron Druid Chronicles.

Two-thousand-year-old Atticus may have outwitted and outfought everyone from Odin to Bacchus, but in this eBook original, he’s about to discover what comes around when you go around messing with gods.

Six years into the training of his beautiful apprentice, Granuaile, a large crow swoops down and transforms into none other than the Morrigan, a goddess who insists that Atticus come with her at once. He must leave his apprentice behind, along with his Irish wolfhound, Oberon - and he must also leave his sword. The Morrigan has always taken extreme pleasure in pronouncing the Druid’s mortal danger and imminent doom, so the fact that she won’t reveal the purpose of their journey makes him very nervous. Of course, any time the Celtic Chooser of the Slain drops in unannounced, it’s never good. When she does let slip that she’ll be saving his life in the near future, Atticus is left to wonder...will he soon be giving his legions of enemies something to crow about?

A Good Tweener Book

Any additional comments?

This is a good "Tweener" book - you can tell this sets up the next book - I like it that way the new book that comes out will not have to start in a direction other than the book should go.

I guess $10 for 2 hours of entertainment is fine

Though I do feel like it should be more like $6. If you can't get enough of the story narrated to you then it is worth it. If you just want to know what happens in 2 hours of story telling and you don't have the cash then read the spoilers out there.

When Birds of a feather....

A great novella in true Kevin Hearne style. It has the serious along with the whimsical. It shows the classical, “acts have consequences” and the interconnectedness of the world. Luke Daniels gives another excellent performance, he truly is the voice of Atticus, while Kevin is the Brain of Atticus. They will keep you wanting more, just like they have done with me.

Too short!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Maybe, it is not worth the money you have to spend on a book less than three hours. But, if you are a fan of the series it's hard to pass up more Oberon and druid's!!

Any additional comments?

Fun story line, light hearted, great series, just a lot of money for a short novella!

Great prelude to what should be an epic Book 5.

This novella goes into a more in-depth story to what is happening to Atticus and his apprentice between books 4 and 5. So this is basically book 4.5. I love this story series because it blends the common era to a old-fashioned druid who has merged with new styles, lingo, and acts like a common 20-something from today.

The reason I love this book and series, is because it allows for more development of story and explains many things that are not explained in the 12 year absence to book 5.

The narrator does a wonderful job and is one of the best readers out there. he has the ability to use accents like they are normal to him, he does a great job of differentiating between the males in the story and most of the females.

Overall, great story, narration, and filling in the holes that are developed between book 4 and 5.

good but short story

I enjoyed it but it would be better if there was more story. It is supposed to be important to the next book coming out so hopefully I will see the pay off when I read the next one. I am a huge fan of this series so anything published is of interest to me. And it was nice to have something while waiting for the next book so I can't complain, I always enjoy his characters.

one more satisfying adventure story

I picked up the Iron Druid books in an audible sale not to long ago. I picked this one up, because it was inexpensive. The scope of these books are the definition of epic.

I have enjoyed all these stories, and I enjoyed Two Ravens and One Crow.

My favorite character remains, The Morrigan.

Please be assured that I say this from a place of respect... I find these books just lacking just a bit extra depth to make them truly stunning.

These books wouldn't be gifts for someone else, but I still bought them for myself. This is just one more satisfying adventure story.

great book series

Would you consider the audio edition of Two Ravens and One Crow to be better than the print version?

I havent read the print version so i cant make this determination.

What other book might you compare Two Ravens and One Crow to and why?

i would compare this book to the others in the series. this stands alone as a great book (they all do) but when read in succesion they are a great series for recreational reading.

What about Luke Daniels’s performance did you like?

Luke Daniels voices were great. the character development in his performance was intriguing to say the least.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There was a moment where I was moved. the end of the book was incredibly suspenseful. I was eager to move on to the next book in the series because of the performance.
