Publisher's summary

Atticus O’Sullivan is back in an all-new, action-packed, laugh-out-loud novella from the author of The Iron Druid Chronicles.

Two-thousand-year-old Atticus may have outwitted and outfought everyone from Odin to Bacchus, but in this eBook original, he’s about to discover what comes around when you go around messing with gods.

Six years into the training of his beautiful apprentice, Granuaile, a large crow swoops down and transforms into none other than the Morrigan, a goddess who insists that Atticus come with her at once. He must leave his apprentice behind, along with his Irish wolfhound, Oberon - and he must also leave his sword. The Morrigan has always taken extreme pleasure in pronouncing the Druid’s mortal danger and imminent doom, so the fact that she won’t reveal the purpose of their journey makes him very nervous. Of course, any time the Celtic Chooser of the Slain drops in unannounced, it’s never good. When she does let slip that she’ll be saving his life in the near future, Atticus is left to wonder...will he soon be giving his legions of enemies something to crow about?

It was worth the price !!!!!

Short story set between book 4 and 5.
In truth I Liked it 25% more than book 4.
Let's hope book 5 will be the same quality.

Good but not my favorite

What did you like best about this story?

The byplay between Oberon and Atticus is always hilarious, and this novella is no exception, but most of the book is about Atticus and the Moragan.

Which scene was your favorite?

The first one.

Any additional comments?

This fills in some backstory, but is very minimal and certainly not necessary for continuity for the series.

Nice story

This is a fun, tight little story. I almost didn’t pick it up because of the price vs length, but it is worth it. It is a good half step between book four and five (where there are a full twelve years).

OK, not necessary to overall story, but ok.

What made the experience of listening to Two Ravens and One Crow the most enjoyable?

The narrator, as always, was great! Every person and animal has their own identity.

Who was your favorite character and why?

As with the previous reviews-the Dog!! Oberon is great!

Which character – as performed by Luke Daniels – was your favorite?

All of them, he is truly a trained vocal performer.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. But a warning, it was a good story in itself, but unnecessary in the overall scheme of the longer books. You won't miss anything if you don't buy it.

They basically have dinner with 3 gods.

The whole thing was good.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

In typical Kevin Hearne fashion it blends humor and fantasy eloquently.

Any additional comments?

I realize this is a novella, but it is still worth the money/credit.

great novella!

Any additional comments?

A great novella with drama, action, suspense, surprise, & mystery. I haven't quite decided if I trust the crow yet....time will tell. As always, Mr. Daniel's did a great job with the narration.
