Publisher's summary

Now an original series starring Rosamund Pike as Moiraine!

Since its debut in 1990, The Wheel of Time® by Robert Jordan has captivated millions of readers and listeners around the globe with its scope, originality, and compelling characters.

The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

The seals of Shayol Ghul are weak now, and the Dark One reaches out. The Shadow is rising to cover humankind.

In Tar Valon, Min sees portents of hideous doom. Will the White Tower itself be broken?

In the Two Rivers, the Whitecloaks ride in pursuit of a man with golden eyes, and in pursuit of the Dragon Reborn.

In Cantorin, among the Sea Folk, High Lady Suroth plans the return of the Seanchan armies to the mainland.

In the Stone of Tear, the Lord Dragon considers his next move. It will be something no one expects, not the Black Ajah, not Tairen nobles, not Aes Sedai, not Egwene or Elayne or Nynaeve.

Against the Shadow rising stands the Dragon Reborn....

So good

I can never get enough of this series, and Jordan’s widow was right to get Brandon Sanderson to finish off the series. He has done so with love and respect to Robert Jordan.

Perfection

Just absolute perfection. Every time I reread this series, it’s this book that really proves what this series was all about.

Good, but slow

Still a great story, but I'm near the end of the last disk and the battle has yet to start. The characters were completely developed books ago. Let the last battle begin.

Best Yet in the Wheel of Time Series

Where does Towers of Midnight rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The Wheel of Time Series started out a little slow for me -- I liked the storyline and charaters, but the actual writing style seemed a bit lacking. With each successive book it's gotten better and better and with this installment I could barely stop listening. I can't wait for the next and final book to see what happens.

What did you like best about this story?

I like the character development of all the different individuals, and following how each of them see the events that are happening in different ways.

What does Michael Kramer and Kate Reading bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

You really get the feeling of the personalities through the voices of Michael Kramer and Kate Reading. I liked hearing a male voice when it is a man's point of view and a female one when it is coming from a woman. Each of them does an excellent job in changing their speaking style to suit the characters they are portraying.

I would count this to be one of the bes!!!!

Every book since Rand got more and more power, you feel him going less and less caring and more solid as a rock, but with the ending of the last bok this book gave more and more hope, Rand's changes will really give you hope.

In this book so many things happened, it felt like it could have been divided into 2 separate boks. actually it did come to a point where I thought I have finished the book but then i found out i still have more than 15 chapters to go :D

What can I say about Michael and Kate other than they were absolutely fantastic as usual.

Let me point out here that i started reading Brandon Sanderson's books first "The way of kings" & "Mist Born Trilogy" and through him I found out about this series, and i'm greatly thankful for that. This series is amazing and this book is amazing..

Wonderful Series

I just spend the last year and two months listening to the 13 books of the WOT series for the first time. I stumbled upon this series from a recommendation by my son. This is a wonderful epic. I am so happy that Mr. Sanderson took upon the task of completing the series. It is obvious that he truly loves to characters and the roots of the series.

It has been mentioned by several reviewers that a few books in the dragged on. This is true. But the story lines all needed to be set up for the final books of the grand finale.

I wait until January to listen to the completion of this wonderful work.
