Publisher's summary

Now an original series starring Rosamund Pike as Moiraine!

Since its debut in 1990, The Wheel of Time® by Robert Jordan has captivated millions of readers and listeners around the globe with its scope, originality, and compelling characters.

The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

The seals of Shayol Ghul are weak now, and the Dark One reaches out. The Shadow is rising to cover humankind.

In Tar Valon, Min sees portents of hideous doom. Will the White Tower itself be broken?

In the Two Rivers, the Whitecloaks ride in pursuit of a man with golden eyes, and in pursuit of the Dragon Reborn.

In Cantorin, among the Sea Folk, High Lady Suroth plans the return of the Seanchan armies to the mainland.

In the Stone of Tear, the Lord Dragon considers his next move. It will be something no one expects, not the Black Ajah, not Tairen nobles, not Aes Sedai, not Egwene or Elayne or Nynaeve.

Against the Shadow rising stands the Dragon Reborn....

excellent writing

Brandon was the best person to finish writing thise books. He captured the essence of each character and put right into the action. Brand new fan of his. I could immediately tell the difference between Robert's writing and Brandon's writing. Soo good.

What a great series!

So well done. I loved the different voices of the characters. Wishing it wasn’t coming to an end so soon…

Worth the slog

The early books were intriguing enough that I wanted to find out what happens. The last several fully written by Jordan are painful. Just.. ugh. Thank the light for Brandon Sanderson. The story, though well developed by Jordan definitely benefits from Sanderson’s narrative skill. I’m excited to see where the last book takes us.
1 major complaint: I normally love both Kate and Michael but where are the producers. These two change name pronunciations about every other chapter and it makes the massive number of characters and places VERY difficult to follow. Plus it’s just distracting! I expect better.

Amazing like no other series

Nothing comes close to this series. The books and characters have been amazing. I’m sad to begin the last book since it will all end soon. This book was incredible, a must read.

minor issue

I noticed that couple of items. Characters made decisions without explaining why or how they made it, like Mat and his team going to the tower to get Moraine. Tam in two places at once. like I said, minor.

Wow

Prologue gave us a glimpse of what was to come. The book , so far, lives up to the promise of the prologue. I am up to chapter 8 now and and really excited about what has happened thus far. Like pieces of a puzzle gradually coming together so that one can see more and more of the whole tapestry that this series truly is. A magnificent tapestry with plently of places to view in detail.
