I can't get enough of Bones and Cat! The adventures the couple find themselves in are non-stop exciting, intersting, and attention grabbing. This story is well crafted with great world building. The stories can be listened to/ read independently from the others in the series but I recommend starting with book one.

Happy but MAD

I'll start by saying I love this series. I didn't think I would at first but I have been sucked in and cannot stop listening. That's the happy part, however I can't help but be more than a little upset about how the author went about writing this book. By a happy coincident I listened to First drop of blood long before I knew about this book. So I was able to keep up but in listening to this book at the beginning I was so confused I found my self making sure I didn't miss a book. In order to understand this book you have to read two other books to know what is going on and where extra characters and previous history comes from. The author should leave it up to the reader to want to read about the other characters in the book rather than be forced into reading them in order to understand a series you have committed yourself to. The book is great as all the others are but I didn't like the sneaky tactics of the author in getting you to buy two additional books to understand a series your following. I almost stopped reading this series all together because of this I felt like it was a betrayal. You notice I said almost.....lol who can let go of cat and bones so easily? I will say if it happens again I'll rethink continuing with anymore of her books. BEWARE!!!

INCREDIBLE STORY

I REALLY LIKE KAT & BONES! NIGHT HUNTRESS IS A GREAT SERIES! THE NARRATOR DOES AN AWESOME JOB ON THESE. WONDERFUL TO LISTEN TO THESE AUDIOBOOKS, I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE NEW ONE COMES OUT.

Good read, but not my favorite

Cat and Bones are at it again, and though I like the book, it isn't my favorite of the series. the narration was excellent as always and without her, might not have kept my interest as well.

This was such a good book. MS Frost has written yet another fantastic book to this series you'll get laughs,romance,drama,suspense and yes cry every emotion was pull from me. I can't say enough about MS Gilbert she is by far the best narrator i have EVER listen to. The book was read with so much emotion the voices unbelievably done well. Highly recommend audio version. Will listen/read anything done by both Frost and Gilbert what a fantastic duo.

Funtastical :)

Cat and Bones have figured out how to work together and trust each other. The maturation of their unity just makes them all the most endearing and one of the best couples in this genre. In this book, Jeaniene Frost resolves several storylines such as what is going on with Don and how will Cat survive her ghoulish enemy? This installment also starts some new and hilariously twisted storylines. All, I will say is Cat???s mom is ridiculous, and the Night Huntress World would be a lot blander without her! Tavia Gilbert does a great job with all of the different accents. I love these books and cannot wait for the next one.

The ending. The last 3 minutes were priceless.

All the other Night Huntress books.

What does Tavia Gilbert bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The different voices of the characters. Tavia is superb as a reader. She really is in a league of her own.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes I did. I laughed when Bones pushes Kat off of a bridge in order to make her fly.
I cried when Kat asked her uncle to give her away in marriage to Bones ( a renewing of vows) as her uncle lay dying of cancer.

This was another wonderful installment of the Bones and Kat series. I hope Jeaniene keeps turning these out for years to come. I will buy them all.

Good book but...

First and foremost the narrator is fantastic. Because of Ms. Gilbert I've found many great books. This book was good. I enjoyed the storyline very much. The only negative thing is there was way more sex. There actually was one whole chapter with just high ranking in depth sex. I followed these book series for the story. Sex most likely comes with a story but, wow, it is a lot when you take an entire chapter and dedicate it to just sex.
