FUN adventure story
I really enjoyed this book! I loved the short lived tv show so much I wanted the story to continue. I'm excited for book 2 of the trilogy.

More gripping in detail than Lord of the Rings
The attention to detail in building each scene was exceptional. I labored none to build the movie in my mind, which played seamlessly. The narrator was of great talent and brought to life each portrayed character in voice and expression. When I reach the end of the book, I though to myself, "What a great movie!" This book I highly recommend.

good story overall
book was very exciting and enjoyed it a lot however author appeared to be quite a novice in his transition from one scene to the next. quite often it would take a few minutes for me to gather that the author has switched from one area of the map to another and switched from one character to another character in the story. other than that the story was a good idea and well written

Distracting but not bad
Well written, but it was also such a blatant Lord of the Rings ripoff that it jarred me out of the experience too often for me to honestly say I enjoyed it. I'm hoping the next book is more its own entity. The performance was great, however; I likely wouldn't have made it through the book with a different narrator.
