This is the destiny of those who stand for others. Their honor will be bought in blood and pain. The Camp Ryder Hub is broken. Lee is nowhere to be found, and his allies are scattered across the state, each of them learning that their missions will not be as easy as they thought. Inside the walls of Camp Ryder, a silent war is brewing, between those few that still support Lee's vision of rebuilding, and the majority that support Jerry's desire for isolation. But this war will not remain silent for long. And in this savage world, everyone will have to make a choice. To keep their morals. Or keep their lives.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this series and can't wait for the next installment. Christian Rummel is a wonderful auditor and gives the characters their own tones and personalities!!!!!! The character's are given depth and you will find yourself cheering some (LEE!!!!!!) and cursing others (JERRY!!!!!). Have listened to this four book series several times......can't get enough....need more REMAINING!!!!!!!
Mother of teenaged bear, Wife to chaos, Warrior
I never really listen to books more than once but this series I would make an exception
I like Lerouge I find him and Lee Harper very human
I found I was sneaking away just to listen. Sitting in the parked car just a little longer to listen. This whole series was nothing short of spectacular!
The narration is still on point. The story is emersive and the plot always thinkens. It can go for ever without loosing traction, with absolutely no over description of events. And all characters are fleshed out. Absolutely Awesome
I'm enjoying this series.
The story is engaging, the characters are very believable and deep.
The action is moderately paved, but detailed.
Molles does an outstanding job of getting you invested in the main characters. Even the minor characters and the antagonists are well thought out.
The actual plot is great too. Surviving attacks from the infected and the post-apocalyptic environment itself are the main sources of tension, but the other plot lines are interesting and engaging.
Fractured takes everything set up is the previous book and starts acting on it. This book goes back to book 1's survival roots in many ways, but still have the over arching plot points established in Refugees.
I'm not going to spoil it, but there's a point where Captain Harden's in dire straights, and goes through hallucinatory spells and finds himself witnessing the probable demise of one of his newest comrades.
The Standoff where Captain Harden outmaneuvers his captors.
If you've finished book three, than you probably don't need much encourage to pick up this book. Refugees didn't have a cliffhanger. It had a rock slide of plot twists that's probably sent you over the edge. Keep going, it's well worth it.
No spoilers! First a few words about the ending. If you're going to finish a book with an obvious series ending this is the way to do it! This is one of the best "more to come"- endings I've read.
Story is splitting up somewhat. Taking new and (very) interesting directions. Book is intense and captivating in the extreme. Only niggle I have is that sometimes descriptions of gore and brutality is starting to be excessively detailed. Not really necessary since the story is strong enough anyway.
Narration is amazing!
I find myself enjoying these books a lot, but I'm happy that they seem to be so segmented. It is very frustrating to buy a book that can't stand on its own merits and is really only part of a larger series/story collection. it makes the cost very high to enjoy this book series. In my honest opinion, they should be in a large compendium of two or three stories and not a collection of short stories over many books. that said, I am buying them and I am listening to them and I am enjoying them.
Awesome! great narration. great audio book. must listen to!! Awesome book! I will most likely listen to it all over aggain, I loved it soo much!
the other is unbelievable in his ability to keep you sitting at the edge of your seat. 4 book in and it is just as fresh as when I first began listening
