“Ringo provides a textbook example of how a novel in the military SF subgenre should be written.... Crackerjack storytelling.” ( Starlog)

Way better than others but

Do all Latinos have an accent? And since when do they only have honor. Very stereotypical of this author. Borderline racist. But if you can get passed this racist authors views then it’s an actual good story where only Americans are smart and everyone else is dumb.

More Ringo

As usual, another ripping good yarn from John Ringo. Not a great fan of his zombie series, but everything else, like this trilogy, is top-notch!

Another good yarn from John Ringo

This is yet another good tale from John Ringo. Though his books tend to be shorter than I like, he does give good value and hours of enjoyment. I find myself secretly cheering for his heros and hissing his villians just as I would if I was much younger.
Not many authors have the military knowlege of Ringo so they tend to gloss over the facts, and though this author is a bit too involved in them they do make for a more believable story.
Well worth the price of admission.

Amazing character development

Rarely have I ever enjoyed so much.... life in a book. Other books I have read that try to portray life are unimaginably slow and after realizing I had listened to over half the book my attention suffused, I realized that the writer was some kind of genius. NEVER have I enjoyed this level of character development, story pushing was perfect the battle climactic and engaging and in the end though I understood why it ended as it did, all I wanted was more. Well done, simply well done.

Awesome!!! Wish there was more to this trilogy.

This is a great story and storyline. Definitely a Heinleinian thought process goes into Mr. Ringo's writing. Coming from me that is one heck of a complement. Fully enjoyed every moment of this book.

Excepional

This series drew me in with great characters and amazing science. I was so disappointed to find that this book is the last in the series. Such an interesting take on space Sci-Fi. The economic and political aspects of the series were so well done, as to be in depth without being drawn out to the point of being boring like other books t hat attempt something similar. Just so well done.

Hot gate makes for a hot war and a epic saga...

Great performance with we'll developed characters. A master stroke and the combination of superb story dynamic characters and a vey enjoyable trilogy. Story arc. One thing more its light on the day by day of the war effort and the space bates but a must read for fans and people they live
