Great story that weaves in and out like the mists themselves

One of my favorites full of great characters, an engaging story and something unknown that makes you keep coming back for more.

Don’t listen to bad reviews

I almost didn’t get this book. I think an issue people have had is that they feel this book is slow, but it is the only way it could ever be so detailed. This was beautifully written and I can’t wait to continue to read his books.

Love love love

Humor, heist, fascinating world — just go for it, it’s a delight. Just read it as a stand alone, the story takes on a completely different flavor in the second and third books, sort of the exact opposite of what this first book promises.

Absolutely loved it

I don't have a ton to say here and there's not much point trying to do an in-depth review of a book this big, but I wanted to throw another positive rating on the pile to support a book I very much enjoyed.

Interesting story

My first Brandon Sanderson story and on to the next. Loved the plot and characters.

Excellent in all regards and can stand alone, not just as part of the series

I’m sure lots of other people have written very descriptive reviews of all the way this book and narration rock. So I’ll make mine short and just mention something unique about it: unlike most sci-fi fantasy series books, this one is great by itself. It doesn’t leave you with a cliffhanger. The story is complete enough to just listen to it by itself. Great book and the narrator did a great job too!
