Magic done right
I admit that the prose in this title are not the greatest in this title, but dang is the magic system awesome. I felt as if nothing was magic hocus pocus that just worked when the book needed it to work. Allomancy is such an entertaining magic system that it kept me going through the slow parts of the title.

I was skeptical to get into this book but dang! This book is amazing, had me in tears, very heartfelt and inspiring. You’ll enjoy it, I recommend listening to the book at 1.2 or 1.3, much more enjoyable.

New found love for Brandon Sanderson.
This is my first book of Brandon Sanderson's and I am in love with his story. His take on magic is very original and the story is so compelling you fall in love with all the characters. I cannot wait to read the next book!

keep going. slow start then bam! your in it!
I see that it is a trillogy And that was off putting considering how long the books are but I just finished book one and it can perfectly stand alone as is. I'm happy where it ended and am glad I stuck through the sloooooow beginning

Love this book!
Brandon really has a way of capturing that which is real in our lives but rarely spoken. Perhaps thats why this book and it's sequels still remain top sellers after all these years.
