Publisher's summary

This holiday season, join two of today’s most popular paranormal authors for a special look into their worlds, where creatures are always stirring and no one sleeps through the night.... The Bite Before Christmas

The Gift by Lynsay Sands: Teddy Brunswick knows about the immortals among us. He’s worked with them, called them friend - but he never counted on being snowed in with one over Christmas. Katricia Argeneau is a tasty little bundle and she seems to feel the same way about him. Problem is, he’s not sure she feels quite the same way. After all, the snowstorm has derailed her blood delivery, which leaves him the only available meal on the menu....

Home for the Holidays by Jeaniene Frost: Cat and Bones are looking forward to a normal holiday - at least as “normal” as it gets for the combustible vampire couple and their otherworldly friends and family. But their yuletide plans are shattered when a stranger shows up and reveals long-buried family secrets that threaten to take a bite out of their holiday cheer... and lives.

Great stories!

Would you listen to The Bite Before Christmas again? Why?

Yes. I really enjoy these stories and the characters in them. Both the Argeneau Series by Lynsay Sands and the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost are excellent stories and the characters you really come to enjoy.

CAT & BONES!!!!

Any additional comments?

I haven't read anything in the past by Lynsay Sands, and didn't really care for the first story, but I was NOT going to pass up Cat and Bones, even if it was a short story. I absolutely love This series and Tavia Gilbert is always a great narrator

Gotta Listen

The first story in this book is pretty good. I guess I'm a sucker for a sappy romance. You know getting a second chance at life and love. Now the second story in book I totally loved, and not because I'm fan of the series. Bones finding out that he has a brother. I don't want to give too much away, he also finds other stuff too. If you want to know what that is you just have to get the for yourself.

Love to read about Cat and Bones

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I like both these authors but the story that stood out the most for me was Cat and Bones. Jeaniene Frost brought a new story line of Bones past that I was not expecting. Don't want to spoil it for anyone but this story is a good one to hear.

What does Paula Christensen and Tavia Gilbert bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I am not a fan of these narrators but they are not all bad.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, I had to take a brake no and then.

First story is 1 star. Second story is 5 stars!

The first story was not that interesting and the narrator was terrible. If you've never read Lynsay Sands Argeneau Vampire stories you'll be totally lost. The nano explanation is vague and not like her other books.

The second story was another great one by Jeaniene Frost. It features Cat and Bones, my favorite vampires. Tavia Gilbert does a fantastic narration as usual. I enjoyed the story as it picks up shortly after the last book left off. I loved that Cat and Ian saved the day!

I would definitely recommend the second story and I give it 5 stars for performance and story. But I can't give the whole book 5 stars due to the first one. Not sure if it's worth it when you're stuck with the first one. I wish the download came in two parts so I could discard the Lynsay Sands story.

I love these authors and these series!

So both of these are continuations of other series. Probably neither one the best story to start out with if you're a newby. I never liked Teddy all that much on the Argeneau vampire series, but Lynsay Sands really does a great job of bringing his personality out. And Cat and Bones smoke as always. A 'must listen' if you're fans!
