The epic story that began with Heir to the Empire reaches its dramatic conclusion in this essential Star Wars Legends novel.

The embattled Republic reels from the attacks of Grand Admiral Thrawn, who has marshaled the remnants of the Imperial forces and driven the Rebels back with an abominable technology recovered from the Emperor's secret fortress: clone soldiers. As Thrawn mounts his final siege, Han Solo and Chewbacca struggle to form a coalition of smugglers for a last-ditch attack, while Princess Leia holds the Alliance together and prepares for the birth of her Jedi twins.

The Republic has one last hope—sending a small force into the very stronghold that houses Thrawn’s terrible cloning machines. There a final danger awaits, as the Dark Jedi C’baoth directs the battle against the Rebels and builds his strength to finish what he already started: the destruction of Luke Skywalker.

Would you consider the audio edition of Star Wars: The Thrawn Trilogy, Book 3: The Last Command to be better than the print version?

The production of this audiobook will blow your mind! It is movie quality. A perfect use of authentic Star Wars sounds, didn't over do it at all. I felt as if I were hearing the audio of a Star Wars movie. Marc Thompson is an absolute master.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Star Wars: The Thrawn Trilogy, Book 3: The Last Command?

The last few chapters are jam-packed with action, and lead up to a great ending.

Which character – as performed by Marc Thompson – was your favorite?

Every character that Marc performed was very unique and very distinct. I love the accents and voices that he made for these characters. But his Han and Lando are my favorites.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Where does Star Wars: The Thrawn Trilogy, Book 3: The Last Command rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This was one of the best! I love the fact that they have started doing unabridged versions of the older (and in my opinion, better) Star Wars books.

The only thing that's bad about this book is that it will make you want more. Great ending to an amazing series.

This trilogy is brilliant, another master piece by Timothy Zahn.
(Spoiler)
Timothy Zahn gave Thrawn a much deserved ending compared to the TV show Star Wars Rebels gave him, and the twist of Jorus C'baoth being a clone was a big shocker.

Awesome

So yeah...in typical Star Wars fashion, this was well produced. The only major drawback in this storyline is the accurate portrayal of the crazed jedi master. His constant formalizing of everyone's name is ANNOYING!

A good ending to a good storyline.

Would you consider the audio edition of Star Wars: The Thrawn Trilogy, Book 3: The Last Command to be better than the print version?

I loved the print version when it was first released, but Marc Thompson has a way of making the characters come alive. I have forgotten what Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill or Carrie Fisher actually sound like. Marc's voices for Han, Luke and Leia are 'real' for me now.

Great story, Great reader

It may no longer be canon but the Thrawn trilogy remains one of the best Star Wars stories ever told and this is a performance which does full justice to it

Amazing performance of an amazing book
