Great work, demonstrating the assention of Palpitine was a young diplomat to the know Darth Sidius and the backroom negotiations and influence of the powerfull Darth Plagueis and the reasons being what you see on the fist two episodes of classic Star Wars movies.

A story that deserves a trilogy of its own.
The best starwars book, Ive read and its a pity that it Still has the matkino of legends. The story and the performance of the voice actor is briliant, and it explains a lot of the political stuff from TPM. Every star wars fan should get to read or listen to this epic story About the Dark side.

love the extra info. could have used more action
I love the book love the background information that it gives you on sidious and plagueis. I had no idea that it took place at the point that it did in the Star wars story. could have used more action and a longer chapter on how sidious became such a master of the lightsaber that he could fend off Mace windu and Yoda and defeat 4 Jedi Masters. aside from that fantastic novel I would read more about that history if they wrote more books about it.

Perfect Sith Sotyline
This book is everything I love about the sith. The story adds so much to the Prequels, which I love dearly, despite all of the weird internet hate they get just because people want to fit in. I am rather sad that I will never get to see this book adapted into a show as it truly deserves to be. Such an underrated story.
