Publisher's summary

The invasion of the arch-wizards is on!

The arch-wizards of Shade Enclave have come out of the desert with a message of peace, and an act of war. Split by petty disputes and causeless feuds, the merchant realm of Sembia is wide open for invasion, and with no shortage of Sembians more than happy to sell out to the Shadovar, can only one man - even if that man is Erevis Cale - do anything to stop it?

Don’t miss out on this series!

Definitely a great book the entire series is epic. It gets really good in Shadowbred and even better in this one. As someone who has listened to the entire Drizzt collection plus other fantasies such as Dragonlance and LOTR I highly recommend these books. The author is amazing and he narrator does a great job switching between characters and giving everyone their own voices. Listening to him have conversations between characters and putting emotion into the literature brings the books to life. Hands down must read series!

Shadowstorm

Amazing. Book 3 in a tril and still kept the story moving. So much character got revealed here but there's so much left to tell!

hard to follow

The narrator reads to fast so I had to slow it down a bit. Also I found the story itself really slow going and not as exciting as I was hoping.

Dark

Not graphic, just dark and somehow disturbing. Makes a person think about the darkness that we all harbor.

Sweet to The Lady

What about John Pruden’s performance did you like?

John Pruden's delivery just absolutely sells the story for me. The writing is good, and the narration is a delicious cherry on top.
