Milks the zombie craze, the last 10 chapters are worth it, but it would be nice if Terry wasn't always reminiscing. He's pretty original when he's telling new stories. Pray for the devil though. If Richard Raul is going to Hell..... The Devil is going to have a really bad day.

Yet another great book from Terry Goodkind
very happy that Terry Goodkind has continued the Sword of Truth series! He paints a dramatic story and fantastic characters with his wonderful story telling and I look forward to the next book!

I'm tired of all the bickering
I love the characters and the plots. However, as in all of these books, it seems that whenever the enemy is attacking or there's some other sense of urgency, someone always questions Richard's decision. This leads to a thirty-minute session of Richard trying to satisfy them with his explanation of what he's planning. While all this is going on, I find myself wondering why the enemy hasn't just stormed the camp and killed everyone, or why whoever is suffering from a near fatal situation, doesn't pass away in the middle of the discussion. It makes me miss Darken Rahl, no one would dare question him.
Other than that, I love these books.

Terrible start for narrator- smoothed out at ch 10
Where does Severed Souls rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
The book and characters were good, but the narrator really drops the rank.
What did you like best about this story?
They finally killed of Abbot Drier, and the story shows the trader. I thought I figured it out in an earlier book, and I am glad I was correct.
Would you be willing to try another one of Sam Tsoutsouvas’s performances?
As I have said in previous reviews - I really have no choice if I want to listen to books in the Sword of Truth series. There is a few by other narrators that are not too bad, but Christina Traister is the best.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes, I was very shocked the first time I read that Zed (Richards grandfather) was murdered.

The Same as usual. I would really like to hear Christina Traister do the whole series.
