Publisher's summary

Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead: Search and Destroy! The latest in Jay Bonansinga's New York Times best-selling series!

What could possibly go wrong?

For one brief moment, it seems Lilly and her plague-weary band of survivors might just engineer a better tomorrow. Banding together with other small town settlements, they begin a massive project to refurbish the railroad between Woodbury and Atlanta. The safer travel will begin a new post-apocalyptic era of trade, progress, and democracy. Little do they know, however, that trouble is brewing back home.

Great addition to the Lilly Cull Saga

Really enjoyed the story even though Half of it I was cursing Lilly out for being impatient and dumb. She takes too many damn risks, but still manages to survive. I like when our heroes win, but the shear luck of this young lady in this particular book is somewhat hard to believe.

Still a solid book in the series, but being relatable is part of the pull to these post apocalyptic zombie tales of humanity. Just felt like a stretch of reality at times. yes I get the irony of talking about reality in a fictional world. lol. Berman is a great narrator as usual.

Ugh, I barely made it through the entire story

Would you try another book from Jay Bonansinga and/or Fred Berman?

I would not try another book by Jay Bonansinga based on this how awful this story was.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Road To Woodbury

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

No Way

Any additional comments?

I wanted to like this so badly, alas it was horrible

Horrible! That is all.

Very disapointed. Dull. Silly. Waste of a credit. Could not even finish it. Was expecting so much more.

A little "tired"

Have to say the plot line here is getting a little tired. Saw the ending a mile away and even though that is ok sometimes - the plot leading up to it was way way too predictable .... Better luck next time

Most of the Storyline made no sense

The actions of a lot of the characters made no sense and wasn't realistic. Miles walking off to his death, the crazy Doctor. Most of the plot and storyline was dreadful

Disappointed

I had a difficult time listening to the end of this book. It drug along with a lot of fluff but no story. The first four books in the series were very good but after the fourth book it has been going down hill.

The Narrator

He did great on all TWD books. Hope there’s more to come and others with him in it!

Just continue the series

That some of the fact were messed up at the beginning of the book. Name off people and who Lily baby dad was not right. The fact Tom was kind of weak when he been strong in the other books. Tom was never religious in the other book but this one he was. Just thing that didn’t add up with characters.

Mispronouncing wind I can’t take it. Love the story tho.

In all the books a common sentence the narrator reads “they wind their way through…” but the Narrator’s pronunciation of wInd is with a short i - wind like the breeze. Wtf?
