Publisher's summary

In 1988, 43-year-old Jeff Winston died of a heart attack. But then he awoke, and it was 1963; Jeff was 18 all over again, his memory of the next two decades intact. This time around, Jeff would gain all the power and wealth he never had before. This time around he'd know how to do it right. Until next time.

Excellent Book!

I was attracted to this book because of my interest in time travel but what has really taken me and impressed me is that it is an outstanding book that examines decisions, their consequences and how we choose to live our lives. I strongly recommend it!

A very enjoyable listen.

Would you consider the audio edition of Replay to be better than the print version?
The performance by the reader was fantastic. His character transitions and cadence were impeccable. I haven't read the print version.

What did you like best about this story?
The subject matter is extremely profound and thought provoking. How would you find purpose, fulfillment, and joy if you could live forever? It really got me thinking about what's important versus what's irrelevant.

Any additional comments?
The ending seemed a little compressed, although I liked the way it kept me wondering.

Interesting idea

Like the movie Groundhog Day, you get to keep trying different ways to go through your life, though for years, rather than a specific day. Makes you think about all the different choices you make in life and how it can change. AUDIBLE 20 REVIEW SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY

Great read, hokey narrator

Would you consider the audio edition of Replay to be better than the print version?

The story is fantastic with plenty of tension and plot twists and turns. Best time travel story I've read to date.

The narrator sounds like a hillbilly or woodsman of sorts, and made it difficult for me to enjoy the characters dialogue. Would have been better, for me, without the folksy accent he read the story with.

This will be one of my favorites!

It makes you wonder what became of Jeff and Pam afterwards. Are they together? Did they find away to make money with all the knowledge they learned from their replays? All in all, it was a great book.

Interesting Concept

This book will probably appeal to those who remember the 60s-80s, as that is the period that the character re-lives over and over again. It was an interesting concept and a good read. I probably won't listen to it a second time, but I don't consider it a waste of a credit.

I liked the way the character tried something different during each "replay," sometimes with unintended consequences!

If you liked the Time Traveler's Wife, you will probably like this...even though they are different in their approach.

Very interesting concept

I enjoyed the story and felt the author really took sometime thinking about what a person might do in that situation.

REPLAY

Where does Replay rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

In the middle, of all my books.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Pamela, she was such a strong woman, yet truly loved him.

Have you listened to any of William Dufris’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, but he was excellent!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

OCTOBER 18, 1988

Any additional comments?

Time travel isn't my favorite genre, however, who wouldn't like to go back and change things about your life? Job, mistakes, partners? (The dying over and over doesn't thrill me, maybe once, huh?)😱 🏇🎰💰👙😁
