"Just then, two more of the huge birds shot by right overhead. One, wings stretched wide, let out a piercing scream as it banked into a tight gliding turn, circling, once, in assessment of the five people below before stroking its powerful wings to catch its departing comrades in their swift journey west. This night they would find ample food."

Carried Away

I love entering the realm of Kaylen and Richard's world .
It's a fantastic journey.

Another Excellent Story

After a mid-series slump, I've really enjoyed the 2nd half of book 7 and all of book 8. The logic is sound, and the fantasy is plausible - and magical.

Good listen

Tends to get a little too descriptive at times, but if you just continue listening adds to the story. Jim Bond was much better narrating this time than he was on one of the earlier books in this series. He must have read the reviews! Overall good listen!

Narrator is much better

Jim had gotten better at narration of the last couple books. Really liked the story. Listening to the growth of Richard and Kahlan is awesome.

Loved it!

In the past, I have not been a fan of Jim Bond's narrating. This book however, was very well done.

good nook

as I have said before, great series. the narrator was a bit weak, but the story was good.

An enjoyable entry in the series

Overall, I enjoyed the story, it flowed pretty well, introduced some interesting new characters and places, and had a good conclusion. My complaint is that some of these stories feel like they could be told in half the amount of words that Goodkind used (if not less!). I'm eager to see how the war with Jagang will end!

another hit

I love the stories and how they actually relate so well with life in our day. I wish all would read these books and see the truth in them.

lots of speeches

loved the book. there were a lot if long speeches but there was enough action to make up for it.
