I've been a fan from. the beginning with moon called and also got into the alpha and omega series

What did you love best about Moon Called?

My neice loves this Series & we often share books; but, I tried reading Book1 - Moon Called....I couldn't get thru it without getting bored. I couldn't bond or relate with any of the characters in the story, for a reason I cannot explain because I do like the way Briggs writes....However, once I took another chance at this Series in Audio-Book form ~> I absolutely love it!!! -Mercy Thompson is awesome!!:-)

Great story if you like the supernatural.

What did you love best about Moon Called?

The story was very well written, and the characters were well developed. There was a lot of action. The world of the supernatural characters was well developed.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Moon Called?

The character of Mercy Thompson was the best part of the book.

What about Lorelei King’s performance did you like?

She does such a good job you get lost in the story and don't notice the narration. Voices for each character are specific and fit the personality of the character. The vampire was a little Bela Lugosi, but still worked (not too over the top).

Any additional comments?

The only drawback for me was that I am not interested in vampire, werewolf, gremlin etc.stories. The subject didn't interest me much, but the story; the personalities and interaction of the characters; and the narration were so good I still enjoyed the book.

good story but at least one cheap trick

ok, I really really hated one of the early deaths, almost put down the series, but the rest is really good so I haven't.

Love this series!

I drive an hour, sometimes more, to work every day. Listening to audio books makes the drive more bearable. With this book though, I actually found myself hoping the drive would take longer because I wanted to keep listening. After I finished this one, I was hooked on the series and immediately bought the next one and started listening. I am not one who usually listens, or reads, a book more than once but I've listened to the entire series at least 3 times. The Alpha and Omega series that takes place in the same world is good too, gives you a different perspective on done of the characters, but the Mercy books are my favorite.

A First but not my last

I decided to take a chance on this book when it was in a sale recently. I was not disappointed & have started reading the Alpha & Omega ones as well.
I usually don't read or listen to these types of books though I have been a huge fan of Jim Butcher's for some time.
Great discovery & I do like the narrator.
Looking forward to the next one.

New to Audio

This was my first audio book. It was a recommendation and a great one. I will be reading more of Patricia Briggs and getting more audio books.

Was leary at first but it grew on me.

I read the book paperback over five years ago and enjoyed it. When I saw the audio book I thought I might as well give it a listen. I will admit I didn't like the narrators voice to start but as I listened I could tell they picked her for a good reason. she has an amazing range and adds to the story.

Skin walker

This book is great for a few reasons chief among them is that in the midst of all the werewolfs is the walker and the myths around that not to mention all of the other fantastical creatures of the fantasy world stages in today's times. I think it's a great blend and makes for an interesting stage and future plots to follow the lead character, Mercy.

What did you like best about this story?

I very much enjoyed this book and the series. The story and characters were intersting and easy to like. Since I listen to the books at work I was pleased to find the "romance" portions entertaining, but clean, which I really appreciate.

What about Lorelei King’s performance did you like?

Lorelei is a very good narrator. It is amazing the number of characters she can come up with. She is very clear when speaking, you always know which character it is. I enjoy listening to her.
