A genius vampire named Sinclair creates an alternate world where vampires can experience a traditional human life of love, marriage, and children. Sixteen-year-old Gabriel is his beta tester and volunteers to fall in love with a coffee shop girl. But when the pain of love becomes overwhelming, Gabriel wonders about his decision. "It's too real," he tells Sinclair. "You made it too real."

It makes me happy to wake up everyday and look forward to listening. Many times I listen while doing artwork. I find it very relaxing.
I didn't read the print version but the audio version was amazing. This was such an original idea and the story seemed even poetic at times. "His hand brushed against hers and sparks shoot between them reminding him that they are all made of stars; the human and not so human." Great!
I don't know of any other book I could compare this to. Again, this was a really original, neat story. I would love to see this go into a longer version.
Wow! Alex Gaterud's did a fantastic job performing this audiobook. His voice is natural with perfect voice inflections. Impressive.
This was a book I read all in one sitting. I found it to be very intriguing and wish it were longer. The story is fantastic. I will look for more from both the author and the narrator.
I received this audiobook foc in exchange for an unbiased review.
