Publisher's summary

The hot new novel in the Black Dagger Brotherhood by the number-one New York Times best-selling author.

John Matthew has come a long way since he was found living among humans, his vampire nature unknown. Taken in by The Brotherhood, no one could guess what his true history was-or his true identity.

Xhex has long steeled herself against the attraction to John Matthew. Until fate intervenes and she discovers that love, like destiny, is inevitable.

John and Xhex - are my absolute favorite collision

As with all my other reviews, I want to include my feelings; without spoilers. I absolutely, unequivocally LOVE John Matthew and Xhex. The buildup to this collision was a long time coming. I picture Ruby Rose in leathers with her legs wrapped around Danila Kozlovsky. There's more sex in this one than any other in the series so far - but there's so much heat between John and Xhex that every time they crash together, you can't help but giggle a little and be like "YES!!" They just; fit. That's it. They just fit.

Wow!

Two broken souls lost in a past life are doomed to some how repeat their steps again . All I can say is wow, just , wow! It helps any broken Soul that holds a secret or damaged heart that some how begins to heal with your stories of John and Xhex because they get to right the wrongs of the secrets that some many hold true .
Thank you so much J.R. For this book and my message is a mess , but really thank you for righting wrongs for so many people that will never have that courage to right the wrongs or secrets they hold to themselves.

My Favorite Black Dagger book so far.

I fell in love with John Matthew's character from the start. An unbelievable story was told with the separate perfect plots culminating into the masterpiece of an ending.

Loved this one!

Such a great book! Loved all the twists and turns and the surprises. Really loved that there is a strong female character instead of the traditional damsel in distress. Can’t wait to listen to the next book in the series.

John Mathew, one of my favorite characters!

I loved this book. I’m sad that John Mathews story is over though as he is my favorite character and who I most looked forward to reading about. I hope he stays a strong character and has a good storyline that continues often!
I loved Xhex for John. At first I wasn’t sure I’d like them together but soon I fell in love w/ her too!
I really didn’t like the parts w/ the Ghost hinters. Their story was so out of place and always made me feel like I was listening to a completely different book. It brought the feel and suspense down too. I just didn’t get it.
I think there could have been a better way to introduce the character Murder into the story.
Luckily they were not long sections.

I’m really interested to see where Quinn and Blay’s stories go.

Superb

Again, JR Ward, entangles us into a mesmerizing story from a character's past to their present. The characters are so detailed and intriguing you gain a sense of understanding about their relationships and their lifestyles. All of her books, builds onto the next leaving you desperate and hungry.

great story

I cant wait to see what is next for the brotherhood and its characters. Will Ward expand on Bhlay's relationship with Qhuinn or Saxton??

great book but bad recording

The editing is really bad. you can hear other people talking in the background and there are sound issues. sometimes it's really loud narrating and then goes quiet again.
