Publisher's summary

Before she met Dragos, half-human half-Wyr Pia Giovanni was alone and on the run. Now, she's mated, pregnant, and heading south to repair the Wyr's frayed relationship with the Elves. Being separated from Dragos is painful, but for the good of the Wyr demesne they need to figure out how to be partners, in more places than just the bedroom.

In New York to preside over the Sentinel Games, Dragos is worried about his mate, but knows that finding two replacement sentinels is essential to show the rest of the Elder Races just how strong and brutal the Wyr demesne can be. But as the games heat up, Pia's negotiations with the Elves take a turn for the dangerous, straining her bond with Dragos and threatening everything they hold dear.

Love this series, love dragos and pia

I actually skipped a few books and listened to this one right after finishing the first. I didn't want to wait through other books to find out how this amazing couple was doing.

This author is just great. One of the most well written paranormal romances I've read, that still brings on the hot sex. The first book had so many epic reveals and heightened emotions as a reader. This one was good, but I can't compare it to the first.

I gave five stars because this author is just awesome, and I'm so happy to have discovered this series and her writing. It's so hard to find someone who constructs a thoughtful world, develops rich and interesting (and relatable!) characters, can build sexual tension, deliver steamy payoffs, write exciting action scenes, AND make you laugh.

Love it.

My favorite thing about about Thea Harrison's books is the banter between characters and not just romantically involved characters but the others as well.

Dragoes and Pia are awesome....

Would you listen to Lord's Fall again? Why?

Yes, I usually like to listen to a series in order but bought this on sale. I've read 1& 2 and loved them both....3& 4 seem to be about other characters so when I saw this was about Dragoes and Pia I went ahead and listened....so glad I didn't wait! There is some action and interesting story line but it essentially picks up where book 1 ended and completes their love story...

Who was your favorite character and why?

Well I still have to say I like Dragoes the best...

Which character – as performed by Sophie Eastlake – was your favorite?

She does Dragoes exceptionally sexy for a girl...but I loved the way she performed Eva...a saucy butt-kicker and one of Eva's body guards.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Can't give it away but the end is a really feel good kind of moment...

Any additional comments?

Now I may go back and do 3 & 4 but these that I have listened to stand alone on their own!!!!

Yes! Pia and Dragos are the focus

Having purchased this in the series, I hadn't realized it was told from Pia's pov- so wonderful, brought it all full circle to the first book. This is a lord of the rings style epic- really - very insightful and inspired. Intense for sure, but lovely and fun and beautiful too. Can't wait to get started on the next one!!!

Love This Couple!!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Dragos and Pia are by far my favorite couple in the elder races series. Their dynamic is hilarious and makes for an interesting mix no matter what situation theyre in.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Lord's Fall?

When Dragos comes to save Pia and the Elves from the fire.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Pia wakes up to find everyone asleep and she sarcastically wakes everyone up.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

The begining of time has come to this.

Any additional comments?

My only complaint is that it feels like she tried to cram too much into one book. The book could have easily been a few hours longer. Towars the end I felt like she was trying to wrap up sooooo much that she jumped time and scenes quickly.

Good story hiding under cheesy cover picture

The story itself is great...I appreciate the authors ability as a story teller so much more when the plot doesn't center around how hot the guy is and coming up with different words for hot (smoldering scorching incendiary and so on) and that is the case for this one, although there is a bit of that. I was very happy to hear more of Pia's tale.
I really enjoy learning more about the politics and the elder races in general and this book covers much more of that.

The narrator does a fantastic job...one of the best.
The cover with the muscle dude...all of the covers for this series...are just so cheesy and cringeworthy. I hate to think I would have missed a good story because of a beefcake picture but it's true. I almost did. The book is good and deserves a better image than a cheap bodice ripper style hunk with a bare chest.

Don't take God's name in vain.

I just don't care for using God's name in vain you can use any vulgar words you won't but that one was used one too many times

Mmmmm THIS SERIES IS WHY I LOVE PARANORMAL ROMANCE

It's all been said before by my fellow reviewers but to summarise:-

An awe and then some fantasy series in which each book is filled with likeable and loveable supernatural characters that evolve emotionally as they get involved in brilliant stories that are funny, tense, sexy, thrilling and, with clever dialogue, each book becomes a VERY VERY addictive listen.

When this one came out I was slightly disappointed and thought "A sequel to Dragos and Pia's story - how interesting or exciting can this one be?" BOY WAS I WRONG!!! It had everything we come to expect from the gifted writings of Thea Harrison and the magical narration of Sophie Eastlake who breathes life into every single character. Dragos was sooooo romantic and even the Peanut gets a bit more involved.

Definitely not a stand alone listen for 4 fantastic reasons - Book 1, Book 2, Book 3 and Book 4 !! So, if you're a paranormal fan but you haven't already listened to them then stop depriving yourselves of a great series and get downloading them now).

Worth a credit? Errr well that would be a big fat YES.

Love it or Hate it but mainly just love it!!!!

I loved Thea Harrison first book in this series. And the characters back!!!! I just want to say this book is not a stand alone you have to read or listen to Dragon Bound and then Oracle’s Moon. This book reference these books. But if you are para-romance fan and want to get into a new series that will be around a while I suggest you look into the elder races series. It has not disappointed me yet.

I like when authors give characters multiple books in a series. Its like catching up with old friends. If you read or listened to Dragon Bound and loved it like I did you will love this one too. You get to know how the couple and unborn dragon baby is doing. I have a feeling there will be few more books with Pia, Dragos, and Peanut. (Figures crossed)

The book has romance and sexy men. Fighting and evil vs good. It gave a little about future books like who will be hooking up next. And Surprises about characters in Pia life (like her ex-sexy boss).

This book will keep you entertained. I hope you agree and Enjoy;-)
