To fight what others can't you must see what others don't.
After an accident left him temporarily blind, Drew Carter didn't just regain his sight. He now sees what others can't imagine - an entire spiritual realm of mighty beings at war. Forget the gift, Drew just wants his life back.
Part of that involves Sydney Carlyle, a woman he is inexplicably drawn to. When he's offered the chance to become a CIA agent, it seems the way to redeem his past. The only problem - his visions of the supernatural realm are increasing in frequency. It's up to the warrior angel Validus and his hand-picked team of heavenly agents to protect the unbelieving Drew.
Validus now knows that the young man is at the epicenter of a global spiritual war, and the angels must use a millennia of battle experience to keep Drew alive, for the Fallen want him dead.
Surrounded by spiritual warriors and targeted by demons, Drew's faced with an impossible decision that will forever alter the destiny of America and his own soul.

very interesting story and very good production for this story of how great is the power of true love to transform and redeem a human heart
Much of the time I listen to more "girl" type stories- Amish and historical Christian fiction but absolutely loved how the author brought to life the intensity of the spiritual realm in these three books. It was very very good. I'd definitely recommend this to be a guy's book though -tons of warfare and guns and fighting. A man's man who doesn't usually listen to stories would like this one.
I've never listened to a story with such performance behind it either- at first I was like-- what's going on here? But I liked how the use of music came in and out but wasn't through the whole thing. And the same thing with the girl voices. I started to like having them separate.
I loved this story experience!! And the story was so good- well researched and accurate, aligning with history and God's word. Hoping to find another Chuck Black to listen to soon. But maybe not too soon- it takes over my life and I can't do anything till I get to the end- definitely pulled me along and wouldn't let me stop listening!!!
I loved watching Drew Carter grow closer to God. The book has made me want to seek God out more often, not just during the bad days.
I can't wait to read the next book Chuck Black makes.
Once I started listening, it was very hard to stop. This audio book was excellent in every respect and has encouraged my faith. It is my favorite of all time. I will listen to it several more times as I have with most of Chuck Black's other books. I thank God for Chuck Black and his books! ☺
This was the best book ever a must-read / listen for all ages. the Bible says we do not fight against flesh and blood but Powers and princes of the air. We are surrounded by Angels and Demons and there is a great battle going on for our very Souls. This book has truly open my eyes to see it as it is. So pray read your Bible and pray.
"Wonderfully emmersive, great story"
Great narration, I liked how God can use anyone even in the c.i.a,loved the story at one point I was a bit awed at how the writer could draw me in as he did. I look forward to anything else writes.
