not an ordinary UF romance

I love the relationship between Anna and Charles. Instead of the traditional love triangle or emotional problems plaguing just Anna, Briggs writes them as equals. They are both dealing w internal conflicts. Dead Heat leaves her with a lot of future for them

I have enjoyed this wonderful adventure of omega wolf who saved her mate from the fae.

What a great book kept me on my seat throughout the story! Love Charles he’s a great character never know what he’s going to say or do.
Anna took along time to get her courage but once she did she was fearless good for her.

Interesting plot twists. Same great characters. I recommend everything in this series & Mercy's series. The Raven books are also fantastic. Everything Patricia Briggs has published is outstanding!

narrator has the best voice! and I love the storyline. and one thing that seems to be missing these days in a lot of audiobooks, it's actually written well.

Probably, because there are a lot of details to remember and I end up going through it again to figure these out.

He is good at capturing the different accents/dialects, which is always impressive.

Of course! But again, don't want to give any spoilers.

Here's the main reason for writing my review: MISLEADING DESCRIPTION! The plot summary given is not what the book is about! Charles is accused of murder, or rather he stands to be accused of murder without actually being accused of murder, but only during the later half of the book and it is cleared pretty quickly. Furthermore, Charles' father is not the one struck down. I am pretty irritated at the description for confusing me. :P

Would you consider the audio edition of Hunting Ground to be better than the print version?

Not really. While Mr. Graham has a pleasant voice to listen to, there is something missing.

Have you listened to any of Holter Graham’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Just the other Alpha and Omega novels that he has done. I would say I have the same answers for all of them. Great story, nifty accent, and much not monotone.

All of Patricia Briggs stories I do in one sitting.

If you haven't read the Mercy Thompson series, do so. They are set in the same world.

another wonderful book

I just love Patricia Briggs and have never been disappointed in one of her books. the narrator is great and only enhances the experience. so glad to hear more about Charles and Anna.

I needed something between the Mercy Thompson series, and this is it! I love Charles and Anna, almost as much as Adam and Mercy... great storyline, wonderful characters I'm in love!
