I love this series

Well written and set in the Pacific NW. I love that even though Anna is an Omega she consistently kicks ass. I also like the fact that Charles and Anna’s relationship continues to evolve.
The narrator was great.

Great story/performance, but misleading descriptio

Would you listen to Hunting Ground again? Why?

Probably, because there are a lot of details to remember and I end up going through it again to figure these out.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Hunting Ground?

Not sure I want to spoil anything.

What about Holter Graham’s performance did you like?

He is good at capturing the different accents/dialects, which is always impressive.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Of course! But again, don't want to give any spoilers.

Any additional comments?

Here's the main reason for writing my review: MISLEADING DESCRIPTION! The plot summary given is not what the book is about! Charles is accused of murder, or rather he stands to be accused of murder without actually being accused of murder, but only during the later half of the book and it is cleared pretty quickly. Furthermore, Charles' father is not the one struck down. I am pretty irritated at the description for confusing me. :P

Great Story Read(with voices) by a Nice Accent.

Would you consider the audio edition of Hunting Ground to be better than the print version?

Not really. While Mr. Graham has a pleasant voice to listen to, there is something missing.

What did you like best about this story?

Spoilers Sweetie!

Have you listened to any of Holter Graham’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Just the other Alpha and Omega novels that he has done. I would say I have the same answers for all of them. Great story, nifty accent, and much not monotone.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

All of Patricia Briggs stories I do in one sitting.

Any additional comments?

If you haven't read the Mercy Thompson series, do so. They are set in the same world.

YES!

I needed something between the Mercy Thompson series, and this is it! I love Charles and Anna, almost as much as Adam and Mercy... great storyline, wonderful characters I'm in love!

Hunting Ground: Alpha and Omega novel

Another hit. I love the way Patricia Briggs brings us a little closer to the Marcy Thompson world. We get a chance to meet Charles Cornick and his wife. What a story. Charles is one DUDE I would not want to have mad at me. Great story line and it ties in well with the other series. Great job by the narrator. He really brought the story to life. Though he did mess up a little between the two books. He swapped Charles and Bran's voices in the second book. In the first book Charles sounded more the indian with the slow rough speech and his father sounded much younger. Good books though.

Imminently Repeatable

There are a handful of authors whose work I can listen to over and over. Patricia Briggs is one of those authors. Her prose is wonderful, her character and story development is rich and interesting. Her ability to portray complicated mature relationships is lovely. This book is high on my list of favorite retreads.

Another great book by patricia briggs

I loved this book, the various characters were intriguing and distinct. Love the series, which stands apart from the Mercy Thompson series, but retains it's congruincy, and I can't wait for more.
