Charming and exciting story
This story was a great listen. I had been told for a long time by a close friend of mine to check the series out. And boy I have slept on it for far too long.
The story moves quick, but not too quick that you can't follow along with what is going on. Such a vast and interesting cast of characters throughout the story. You are bound to fall in love with at least one of them if not more.
The narrator does a fantastic job, not only as the main character, but every other character he voices as well. Surprisingly very good at all the different accents and dialects throughout the story.
Definitely one of the top fantasy stories out there!
Also, it makes for a very fun read if you are familiar with the state of Arizona, as you can really pin point the locations in the story.

One of my favorite series
Such a fun series. This first book does a great job introducing you to Atticus his hound and the world he lives in. The main character is oddly relatable for a druid older that Christianity. The relationship between him and his hound is endearing and comedic. I adore the mythology lore ripe in these stories as well. Also one of the best voice over artists narrates the series he is the best. Highly recommended series.

Kevin has given us a new Hero to be cherished. His protagonist is unique and very down to earth. his companions are loveable and they challenge ideals.

Enjoyable and light listening
This book serves as a great light listen. Funny, exciting, and fairly interesting at times and more than enough to keep a listener entertained. Where the book has issues is it’s use of modern references. An example being the use of a quote from Eric Cartman “You will respect my authority” during a fairly intense fight scene. Such references happened a few times and they always felt a bit jarring and forced. But, if you can get over that, it’s an enjoyable listen!
