A mix of Dresden and Urban fantasy

I like the premise of this book. The main character reminded me of the wizard Dresden, and the story itself reminded me of Urban fantasy (sans the romance).
Fun story all in all, and it has intrigued me enough to read the second book in the series.

Atticus has become one of my new favorites.

Atticus O' Sullivan has been hiding from Aengus Og, Celtic God of love for 2000 years. But that's all about to change. Aengus has found him and has joined forces with a few new allies to help him get to the fantastical sword Atticus has, Fragarach, the Answerer.
Atticus has his wolfhound Oberon, the Morrigan, Celtic Chooser of the Slain, and he also joins with a couple new allies of his own.
This is a great start to an amazing series. The narrator Luke Daniels did an awesome job bringing the characters to life.
5 stars all around.

love this book. the narrator was awesome and amazing. I could not stop playing it and often feel asleep listening to it because I could not bring myself to pause it. it's definitely a must read and I looking forward to reading the next chronical.

Yes, I would listen to this book again. The dog is the best charater in this series. He is really very funny.

What other book might you compare Hounded to and why?

This series is very much of the genre I like to listen to and read. I prefer almost all the books I purchased regarding magic, esp, or paranormal. This book is comparable to the Sookie Stackhouse series and just as funny.

What about Luke Daniels’s performance did you like?

I think that Luke Daniels did a great job and really brought the charaters to life.

I did listen to this and the other books in one sitting.

FABULOUS!

This book was the perfect combination of lore, action, mystery, twists, and humor. I was intrigued, surprized, and laughing through different parts. The reading was exceptional! Great accents and inflection with each different voice for the different characters. Well done! I can't wait to begin the next one!.

Wait, it's over?

The story is good, the plot is fast paced, the characters are interesting.
The Irish words are pronounced incorrectly which is mildly annoying to someone who knows better. Ogham is pronounced O-um not og- ham.
I am looking forward to listening to the rest of the series.
