Charming, delightful and silly.
Exactly what I was looking for in terms of urban fantasy that doesn’t take itself too seriously and isn’t overly dark or violent. Fun, lovely characters and a new pantheon to get familiar with.

Phenomenal. Humorous at times and enthralling

Audio quality is perfect!!!
I loved this. So much fun. It kinda gives the feel of Fred The Vampire Slayer (sort of). MC is a druid, there’s witches, goddesses, vampires, werewolves, sorceress, demons, ect… MC has an Irish Wolf Hound whom he can speak to telepathically. And he is the cutest. The MC has tattoos and charms with magic and can draw power from the earth. There’s a bad guy after him and a quirky old lady down the street who hates British people. An old man across the street who is always calling the cops so the dog likes to go poop on his lawn to make him mad. 😂 this is a great start to the series.
Luke Daniels is fantastic narrating. Does a cute dog voice and brings the energy needed for this story.

Such a good book! Needing a great book for a long journey I gave it a listen and so excited for book 2 and the rest of the series! Truly powerful writing and so you can really tell that Hearne has a unique style of writing that makes his tales so whimsical, serious and fun!

Great start, great series
I have one complaint about this book, I wish it was much longer. This is my third time listening to the series and I’ve enjoyed it every single time you can’t miss with this book series.
