Continued

I started it. I like several of the story lines, but some of the characters irritate me... If this was a printed book I would skip their chapters and still be able to follow the story.

Addicted to this series

This books slowly peels back the curtains to show just how miniscule the humans are in this universe when facing the true titans. I love how this book introduces all the players and give the feel of barreling to an explosive climax. On to the next book.

Anderson does a great job with this book and with all the titles in this series. Very entertaining and gripping. Well-written!

Not for everyone

I am enjoying these books, they explore a lot of interesting psychological and political issues. However they can be frustrating at times because of the lack of heroism or positive outcomes in general. About 90% of the chapters end on a tragic note. So far, the books have been very depressing. The major theme seems to be what happens when people face utterly impossible adversity. Hopefully the novels will turn positive sometime soon. I'm halfway through the 4th book, Scattered Suns, though, and its not looking bright yet.

Start at the beginning. It's worth the effort. Moving on to book 4.

Starts off bit slowly..

But if you want a saga then h you must allow the author some character/backdrop development. Fantastic universe.

loved the series, but glad it's over.

The book it's self was good, not the best in the series. the story was wraped up well and left just a few questions. all in all the end was a little anti-climatic and to be honest pretty predictable.

Good character development

I got sucked into these books and was a little annoyed when I realized book 3 wasn't going to wrap everything up. I now find out there are 8 books planned for this series, with the last one planned for 2008! My advice? Wait until all 8 books are out. I'm really not looking forward to waiting two more years to finish this sucker up, even though it is an interesting story that never seems to end.
