As good as I remembered

Read this book years ago, was as happy to see it come out on audio. It was as good as I remembered it. The Ellen Archer does an excellent job of bringing the characters to life, just as I had imagined. Can't wait to listen to the rest of the series.

loved this book. It's original, enjoyable and a consistently paced adventure. I never got bored with this book!

This is such an amazing series and a great narrator! I could read this series over and over again.

Overall Good - Not the target audience

I believe this book was probably written for young adults. Probably girls in their teens. I am in my 50's so I'm probably not the target audience. I overall enjoyed the book. The beginning and middle were good. The ending, around the last 2 - 3 hours dragged for me. I was really glad when it finally ended. I had thought I'd listen to the sequel as I was listening to the beginning and middle but after the ending I decided I had enough. Also, I'm not much of a sci fi fan so I guess I had my quota for the time being.

Kristen Britain is a New author for me- love! Ellen Archer is a fabulous narrator! That really says it all. Some authors have the ability to get it all right, especially characters, and many do not have that ability. It’s what makes the difference between a good/decent book and a great book. Ms Britain has that ability. I loved these characters. Will definitely get the next in the series.
And Ms Archer is, as always, superb in her narration- excellent!

I have this series as books, kindle e-books, and now the audible books. Love the narration. Just as I heard when reading it. Perfection.

I think, if I thought hard enough, I could riddle this book with flaws and holes, but....I truly just enjoyed listening to the story. I think it was worth a credit, and I would give it a solid recommendation.

Predictability meshed with some good elements

Average for story. Above average for narration.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

Most interesting: The development of Kerigan as a character.
Least interesting: The way I never felt Kerigan was in any real danger and that there would be a happily ever after ending.

What about Ellen Archer’s performance did you like?

Did well portraying the various characters.

I absolutely love this series and always wait for the next book. I reread them constantly.
