My first review

Overall this was a good listen. It was quite shorter then the rest of the books in the series.

i was not as happy with this one as i was with the 2 previous not as much action but still a good story base. well narrated. this is a great series and well worth the read if you have ever been curious to a shtf situation. this seres really takes you thought all sorts of possibilities.

3rd in line, still towing the line!

Love this book. it's just common sense and in 2019, scary real sounding. I can't wait to start number 4.

Great storyline

Duke Fontaine has a remarkable voice. He does a great job depicting different characters. I believe he could read a dictionary and still keep the audience interested. As far as the story goes, this one was too short. The other books in this series closed out nice. This one, although an excellent story, seems to rush to the end, leaving the readers with more questions than answers.

I have many favorite characters in this series but Morgan, Thad are the main ones.

I loved the whole series but I think Going Home was the one that really caught my attention and made me want more

I hope that these 3 books are not all there is. I hope and cant wait for book 4.

I Recommend To Others

So here is the deal...
I'm what I refer to as, narrator picky. I will literally stop a book in the first three minutes and return it if I can't get past the narrators voice or inflection. So, when I say this narrator is a little annoying I mean A LITTLE. He pauses oddly in the middle of sentence and doesn't pause longe enough between character scenes so it takes you a second to realize you are no longer with the group of people you were just with...but honestly, none of that was irritating enough for me to stop listening. He has a good voice. Not really enough variation between characters (also draws attention to the pause issue but still listening lol).

Beyond that, I love survival stories and don't like stories where there isn't enough living between death and destruction. Tell me how you are getting by. Tell me how you are out-smarting the bad guys. That's in here. These are good books. Good enough that I recommend them to friends and I listen to a LOT of books. Rarely do I bother to recommend any if them. So, give them a listen!

Excellent story

Enjoyable! Performance was well done and helped bring the characters to life. If you like survival genre you’ll like this series.
