Best in the series so far!

I've greatly enjoyed the entire series this far,. It's easy and fun, like brain candy. Each book makes you care more and more, as if you're part of Star Force, and that you don't know what to do either. However, you're put at ease as you realize that you don't have to make the hard decisions. You know that Colonel Kyle Riggs will make the decision for you.

Well done saga

What was one of the most memorable moments of Empire?

The mixing of human and Macro forces.

What didn’t you like about Mark Boyett’s performance?

Very uneven, seemed like the soundtrack was spliced together from a number of different takes.

I have enjoyed the series, but this one is incredibly uneven. I enjoyed the story, but was constantly distracted.

The creativity in Larson's writing never fails to be enjoyable!

What does Mark Boyett bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Mark's narration brings the story to life. His delivery becomes as much a part of the book as any of the characters.

Love the series! Some of the aspects can get a little out there but over all I really enjoy all of it!

I like it, but wish the audio quality were....

I wish the audio quality were more consistent. In all, I like the narrator, but wow you can tell where the edits are and the tone of his voice changes.

The story is more politics and exciting battles than well written military sci-fi, but it is something to listen to between the undying mercenaries series. I never come away from listening to one of these wanting to recommend them to friends, but they make good background noise.

Empire

I enjoyed this part of the series. I really get a kick out of the character Marvin. He Cracks me up. some of the things he says. This is my 3rd or forth time listening to this series. I moving on to the next audio book in this series. I believe you will enjoy it to.

The story line is tight and there is a steady diet of action.

I love the battles and how everything is set up.

It never slowed down.

The little robot marvin is funny insightful and a great addition to the story.

I highly recomend that this whole series be listened to. It is escapist, action packed fun. It could make a great movie series.

Most recent in a great series - more to come?

This is the most recent in a series of six books. The whole series is packed with action and adventure. Our main hero takes on villains from all sides. Throw in a few characters you're not sure how to classify and you have a real roller coaster ride through space. Start with Swarm, the first book, and you'll be hooked.

Great voices, great line delivery! I am hypnotized to the story.
