Publisher's summary

Time is a very fluid thing, no one really has a grasp on it other than maybe how to measure it. As the maestro of the Day by Day Armageddon Universe, I have the latitude of being in control of that time. I can adjust the slider either direction, moving the timeline back and forth along the continuum. This is one of the perks of creation, the benefit in constructing something (albeit small) from nothing. Sort of makes you wonder what the maestro of the universe is up to, no? You have again stumbled upon a ticket with service through the apocalyptic wastes, but this time the train is a little bit older, a little more beat up, and maybe a little wiser. Keep your doors locked.

Like a "cat's in the cradle" sad true look back...

J.L. Bourne hooked me again and found a way to make me feel. Ive been less emotional as a pallbearer than i was enjoying this story...

Short closure to the other three books

Note, this isn't a full "book" like the other reviews have mentioned. It is however the closure to this series, and does a decent job of finishing the series.

I would t recommend to purchase this using a credit but perhaps at a discounted rate if you've already listened /read to the other three books in the series.

Good short story, but Bourne slacked on this one

What made the experience of listening to Day by Day Armageddon: Grey Fox the most enjoyable?

Bourne came back to the old Day by Day

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Sad that Kill just is going to fade away. If Bourne does any other books we know how Kill ends up.

Bravo Sir!

I really enjoyed this trip into the DBDA universe. The book is short, no doubt about that, but it is well worth the time and worth far more than I spent for the trip. I bought Grey Fox on Kindle when it first came out and read it right away. When Grey Fox when on sale here I bought it right away and started my journey through the DBDA universe from the beginning one more time. I'm glad I did, because I missed it, that little Easter Egg. It is there in the last few seconds that JL answered a question I have had since the end of Shattered Hourglass and the answer is there if you listen closely you too may find out the fate of one of the characters from SH. I know they are just characters in a book, but it is still nice when one of the good guys make it back. Thank you Sir!

Latest in the timeline and a nice finish.

Well written and well thought out as always. You can pick up on the hours of research JL has invested in the topics discussed just as quickly as you can lose yourself in the wasteland. I recommend listening to the DBDA series at least every 5 years from start to finish. It gets me thinking and prepping every time. This series has changed my life for the better as it is one I can recommend and relive over and over. Give him a follow on social media as well.

A great short story about "Kill"

Set in the future of the DBDA series, it has adventure, but maybe more importantly shows the emotional maturation of the lead character has gone far beyond the initial coldly objective man.

Id rather just donate directly to JL Bourne

I really liked this series but not a fan of shorts like this. oh well, i paid for it mainly to support the continued works of the author.

Meh, not great but not bad

Decent wrap up but definitely not on par with the rest of the series. Felt like mr. Bourne was trying to appease part of the fan base by throwing a finale out to shut people up on the boards.

Probably didn't need to be written.

After listening through each book in the series in sequence I have to say that this was disappointing. I knew it would be short, but not that short. This seems like it may have been better to have as the epilogue in the last book Shattered Hourglass. It would start build action just like you would expect in the other books and then just fizzle out again and again. Which made me think why? This could have just a summary of the future they were in. Explain a little more about the anomaly, how the society worked more after the inclusion zone, the science behind what made the inclusion zone, on and on. JL just glossed lazily over it and saying the character didn't care how it all worked so you shouldn't either. So disappointing especially after coming from those three other quite engrossing books. Which makes me ask why? Why was this written in the first place?

Luckily this is the only weak link in JL's line work. His latest one, Tomorrow War, is his best yet and so enjoyable to listen to. Mr. Snyder narrates that one as well so it's a bonus treat.

Another book in the series worth listening to.

The only complaint I have is that the story is too short and leaves you hanging big time. Hope there is more in the works to expand upon this series!
