Loved,Loved, Loved it!
What made the experience of listening to Darkness Dawns the most enjoyable?
The whole storyline caught me when I read the book and couldn't wait to hear it in audio. It was narrated very well. Kirsten Potter's male voices did not take away from the story at all like some female narrators do.. I look forward to hearing the other books in the series if she continues to narrate.
What other book might you compare Darkness Dawns to and why?
Darkness Dawns is similar to the books written by Karen Marie Moning, Donna Grant and Jacquelyn Frank. Those are a few of my favorite authors whose work I read and listen to.
What about Kirsten Potter’s performance did you like?
She made the characters sound just as I thought they would.

I loved the storyline and I laughed and smiled throughout the book.

A Paranormal Treat
This was another good Paranormal romance, not my favorite but it's good. The discovery of Paranormal world seemed too easy for the heroine. Once the story began to move, it moved along quickly at a good pace. The narrator presented a treat to my ears.

Not bad, not great, principal couple just kinda...get together? The last chapter leaves some lines of dialogue that maybe, probably?, will come up in later books? I'll give the next book in the series a try, hopefully, like in the case of sorceress of his own and randevous with yesterday, there will be marked improvement in character development.

Liked it, but...
I don't like it when authors get preachy about their beliefs--even if they are beliefs I agree with. This is a good story, but it gets cringe-y and I am taken out of it a bit every time the characters go on their rants about the importance of eating organic food.

Good book
I really enjoyed this story. It wasn’t your typical immortal story. There was love, sex, action, and superpowers. The narrator did an excellent job as well. Easy to listen to and I didn’t miss the duet/dual narration
