Life
I started reading this series when it first came out in 2002. Then the movie came out and as most movies go it did this series no justice!! I now drive 2 hours a day for work and needed a filler for those hours, i tried talk radio but the doom and gloom on either side of the isle didn’t help. I thought about audio books and found this series again. As soon as i started listening i was quickly engrossed in the world again. I’m purchasing the final book in the serious! I find myself somewhat saddened its the last book!! Amazing Story

Couldn't stop listening!
Paolini continues his wonderful storyline. I thoroughly enjoyed this book along with the first two in the series. The narration is wonderful. I highly recommend this to other listeners. Can't wait for his fourth book to come out!

Great Fantasy Escape!
Might not be perfect, but it is a lovely listen.
The story is a classical epic fantasy, very detailed and full of moments that can resonate with one's heart. Beautiful descriptions enrich the text and Paolini surprises with many wise instances of introspection and a surprisingly healthy and balanced view of politics, death and life, and real love.
Listening to Gerard Doyle is like listening to a beloved grandfather telling stories of old.
Overall great experience, obviously must read following the first two books.
