After putting off reading Jane Yellowrock first book, I immediately started reading the 2nd book.. and soon will start with the 3rd one too.. You meet Molly (Jane's best friend) and her kids, and you will love them....
The hunt goes on for the vamp maker and it gets really interesting. You learn more about vamps and very interesting and OMG moments you get while reading this book.

Good book, good series.
Would you listen to Blood Cross again? Why?
I would listen to it again because it moved along enough that I wouldn't get bored with drawn out scenes. The characters are strong enough to hold my interest and not annoy me.
What did you like best about this story?
I really think the character development is done well. Each person is distinctive and interesting.
Any additional comments?
I really like this series so far and plan on listening to the next books. If you are looking for a strong "romance" book, this does not focus on that, though there are developing relationships.

Beast is amazing!
I love the Beast/Jane byplay going on in Jane's head while she is talking to people. Beast gets Jane out of trouble and Jane kicks butt. This series can't be compared to any other but I will say that if you are a Kevin Hearne and Jim Butcher fan then this is the series for you. Guys trust me the books are not mush brained love stories. There is something for everyone here just like Dresden and Iron Druid.

Getting more of Faith's take on the background to the vamps history and mystery.
Have you listened to any of Khristine Hvam’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I've only listened to Khristine Hvam in this series. I love her voice and accent. Her read is smooth, silky and bad ass all at the same time. Perfect for this series.

KEPT ME GUESSING
Where does Blood Cross rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
The Yellowrock Series is in my top ten for Series. Blood Cross is Book #2 and ranks high as I wasn't sure what the creature was till end.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Blood Cross?
Jane's interactions with Sabina - wicked scary.
Which scene was your favorite?
Jane's realization that what she is hunting is way more than a rogue vamp.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No extreme reaction, but see the Bruiser love jones creeping up.

2ND A VERY GOOD FOLLOW UP
What about Khristine Hvam???s performance did you like?
I have omitted to comment on the narration of this series. The narrator is very good! She is able to depict the various emotions of the different characters. This is an easy listen with a nice voice.
