Happy deviation from the romance formula <3

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely. I would recommend both the first book, Angels' Blood, and this one. The world-building is fabulous - and unique. And I was happy to see a deviation from the formula of "each book is a new love story" which I felt took a bit away from the compelling world that was built in Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series, and a bit too formulaic. The story of the universe with its unique relationships between vampires, angels, archangels, hunters, hunter guild, and evolution/devolution is wonderful. It was woven beautifully through the blossoming relationship between Raphael and Elena.

I Always Want More

Picking up where the last book left off it takes the reader on an adventure for the Refuge to the Forbidden City in Beijing. It's ending though leaves a cliff hanger and the reader wanting more. I advise if getting this book to get the next as well.

The life and times of an angel made...

Another winner from the Romance Package and a great opportunity to visit with my favourite angels.

This installment shows us that the strong can be temporarily incapacitated but can't be held down forever. The Hunter wakes from a year long nap with a few additional features. It takes a wee bit of adjustment, but she is determined to be strong again. With a little help from her winged love, she will conquer and climb the obstacles in her path.

Plenty of action and adventure for these two with a few psychos playing games with the lives of humans, vampires and other angels.

I again enjoyed this narrator and found her easy to listen to and follow.

I will definitely be listening to more in this series...especially if it's in the Romance Package.

Another great listen

The narrator did a great job. I really enjoyed this 2nd installment of this series and the continuation of story. The character building was great and I love how I am able to feel connected to numerous characters.

who is it that doesn't ensure people know how to say the words in this damn book? really? Aloysius? Al o ish us. in the first book she said estimated instead of established. give me a break. these are supposed to be professionals? so they can do different voices. they can't pronounce the words properly? utterly ridiculous

Do not miss this one

Where does Archangel's Kiss rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

First audible book I have listneed to.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Elena. Because she is so strong physically and yet so mentally damaged inside. Because of her childhood tragedy.

Which scene was your favorite?

I LOVE WHEN SHE IS TRAINING WITH GALEN AND BLUEBELL AND USING HIM FOR TARGET PRACTICE. SO FUNNY.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

NALINI SINGHS ARCHANGELS NOTHING HEAVENLY ABOUT THEM.

Any additional comments?

I love this series. Read all of them and decided this would be my first audio. It did not disappoint me. I am hooked on audible books now.

Still Excellent

Some series tend to disappoint by the second installment, but not this series. Still eager to move onto the next one! Also the narrator is wonderful!
