One of the best of the Guildhunter Series

Really enjoyed Dmitri's story - always an intriguing character, appreciated hearing his history.

Better story than the priors

Its an ok story, good background while working. I can't say its the greatest enthralling series but its worth a listen. I liked the series better in print years ago.

Raphael's Blade, Dimitri, has his own story

Dimitri has lived a thousand years as a vampire, changed against his will. He has dealt with his soul-deep grief and anger by training constantly and becoming a warrior to reckon with. He was Raphael's human friend, then became the head of his 7 when Raphael ascended to Archangel. Honor is a Guild hunter damaged when she was kidnapped and held captive for 2 months. When an old evil comes back to harm Dimitri, Honor is drawn in to assist. In coming to Dimitri's attention, she gains the determination of the Blade to find her attackers. In being drawn together, old wounds are exposed, & past history revealed. Very emotional, but well-written. Eyre does a good job differentiating between characters and emotions. Well worth the credit or purchase price.

I listen over and over to the Guild Hunter series

this one is as good as the others. Nalini Singh has become one of my favorite authors. I just wish she wrote faster

Original Storyline

This is an amazing series. I love how it tied in with the previous books and gave it own unique twist on the story line. you won be disappointed!

Finally Dmitri gets a story!

I love that things are kept fresh and new while also staying with the main story lines!

Not for the faint of heart, but AMAZING

First off... I love Nalini Singh. I've loved reading the books and I've loved listening to them as I catch things I didn't in the reading.

As for Archangel's Blade - don't start the series here. This is the 4th book and there is a lot of back story from the other three books that just adds depth to this book. I have a hard time imagining that this would be as good without having the other three books as a base to what Dmitri, in particular, is like. (Bonus: I LOVE how Nalini Singh is able to be true to the original character she developed through the three previous books, yet add more depth to him without changing him dramatically for this book).

Another note - The Guild Hunter Series is violent. Personally, I think it fits the world that she has created in these books, but this book is NOT for the faint of heart. If you loved the Psy-Changeling Series, this series is much darker but in some ways more compelling than the other. I love them both in different ways. Can't wait to read and listen to all of her new titles.

I just adore this series, and this one made me actually like Dmitri! Listening to an old favorite is like re-experiencing it the very first time!

The author does such an amazing job telling a story so well you actually believe you're a apart of it, and the narrator bring the story to life with wonderful accents and a beautiful voice!

Archangel's Blade

I love this story. Dimitri is one of my favorite characters. Ms Singh brings her characters to full life. I have every book in this series, and can't wait for each new one. Please please keep writing them. I promise I'll buy each and every one of them both printed version and audible.
