A great start to the series!
I am a big fan of vampire stories, and was hoping that this series would not disappoint......and, it hasn't. The mythology was complicated enough to hold my interest, and the angel component was a sweet surprise.

Wonderful unique story
I love not only the characters in this story, but also the plot which has kept me listening almost non-stop! Although it takes a little time to get used to Justine Eyre’s voice, her narration was almost flawless and suited to this wonderful world created by Ms Singh.

it's aaaaa...,
well, it's paranormal. you know that by the first word in the title with the word 'angel'. trust me when i tell you these are not the angels you see in paintings or hear about in church. next word in the title is 'blood'. who's blood...angels? vampires? yes. and more, there are humans and vampire hunters!
it's about love and hate, it's a thriller (well, you've got to be with hunters and vamps)! WAIT! that word 'thriller' turns some people off. let's think about it a moment.
i think there are 3 levels...pg (the whole family can watch and read), pg (someone needs to figure out the maturity levels), and then there is the x rating (where there is so much violence and gore that you have to skip page before you can go any further or you just stop there because you don't want to throw up or have nightmares), i would give it a pg rating.
the narration is great! i had not problem following the characters as the different characters spoke or with the disctives in-between.

Terrible voiceover!
If only Kristen Potter would read this serious outloud how i would have loved it. The voice over is terrible making angels sound old and wobbly ughhhhh weres the strong male voice of and Angle... please have someone else read it the voice just grates.

A great story!
I enjoy this series and glad to listen to it told. Elena is the feisty heroine and central to this story, this series is a great universe.

Angels, vampires, love and violence ♥️
I absolutely loved this book. I actually realized though towards the end that I have already read the series years ago. Somehow it wasn't in my library, so I must have borrowed it. I love a series with a strong female character.

Unusual awesome story
Such a good story. So glad there is more to it and can’t wait to listen to them. I thought the narrator did a wonderful job.
