Story
Some mysteries are shrouded by both time and wars long since past. One of these mysteries revolves around the discovery of the true nature of magic, and the High Mage who ushered in a new era of understanding. Her name was Marin, and her life's work was consumed in the writing of her research. This is Marin's story, and that of her only student, Emonael, as they completed her research. They faced many trials together, and grew to respect one another as few have ever understood, even as others sought to silence the threat she posed to their power.

Story
Evelyn enjoyed living a nice quiet life in an anarchic pirate port, far from the world she’d once conquered. Then came an attack by mercenaries that made her angry. By the time the dust settled, she had a group of former slaves which she’d freed, her djinn assistant had convinced several of the women that they should join Evelyn’s brand-new harem, and she was looking for a new home, likely aboard a ship.

Story
The life of a giant bee is a simple one. The life of a giant bee when her queen turns the entire hive into human-like apis to fend off an attack? That’s a good deal more complicated. Getting down from a 50-foot giant rose without wings while surviving the attacks of malevolent wasps is just a start. Surviving long enough to figure out what to do with her new life proves to be something of a challenge, but at least that much is understandable. Of course, that’s when she gets sucked into the tangled web of an ambitious demon lord who’s threatening to plunge the world into a war.

When Alice Verianna went to sleep, she was just another teen from the Denver suburbs. She definitely didn't expect to be transported to a magical alternate dimension, inhabited by monsters and presided over by a mysterious System. Here, people resemble RPG characters and everyone has access to their own status screens. Grappling with the mechanics of the elusive System isn't the only challenge Alice faces. It seems an underground organization known as the Society of Starry Eyes has taken a particular interest in other dimensions.

Story
Kihrin is a bastard orphan who grew up on storybook tales of long-lost princes and grand quests. When he is claimed against his will as the long-lost son of a treasonous prince, Kihrin finds that being a long-lost prince isn't what the storybooks promised. He also discovers that the storybooks have lied about a lot of other things, too: dragons, demons, gods, prophecies, true love, and how the hero always wins. Then again, maybe he’s not the hero, for Kihrin is not destined to save the empire. He’s destined to destroy it.

What should you do when you're dragged to the hells? As a holy maiden of the Phoenix Queen, Jasmine was a prize of immense value to the demons. To their shock, she and her nearly defeated rescuers are rescued by the beautiful but scathing Xandra, an enslaved elven sorceress who’d been damned for over a millennium. And the fickle hand of fate would reunite her with Xandra again, once darkness shrouded her homeland and all the other holy maidens are captured. Dungeons are a lot like sea turtles. They’re born in clutches of dozens, if not hundreds. A 100 may be born at one time, buried in still-burning cities, in forests where the canopy hides the sky, or in ocean trenches at the bottom of the sea. But, only one in a clutch ever makes it to the surface. Everyone knows about dungeons - monstrous factories that emerge out of the earth, full of riches and Arcana and power - and monsters.

Great plot, cringy love between females.
It has a great plot, but a cringy love between female main characters distracts from it a lot. The author just needed to force his kink into the story.

Fulfilling and Exciting
as you go though the story it shows the light and dark of the world around them. Proving not all good is justice and not all bad is evil. for that I commend the author it's extremely difficult to portray that.
Another topic the the reader might sound like Professor Trelawney from the Harry Potter franchise but I promise it does fit the book the more you drive into it.

As a game master, my strongest point is world building, and it is my favorite part of the books I read. This book reveals its lore slowly and well, I highly endorse it. The story itself is well written and coherent, and performed superbly.

I can't wait for the next book. I am fascinated by fantasy and enjoyed the detailed description of all the plants and appearances of the characters.

Great start to the trilogy
Picked up the book after reading it's synopsis and slotting it away in my wish list for a couple months. I am glad that I finally purchased it and I honestly marveled at how deeply the world had been crafted. I am looking forward to listening to the rest of the trilogy. As well as the other series the author has written/uploaded to Audible.

An Excellent Start
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and eagerly await my next opportunity to purchase books. The writing was top class, the narration had real life to it, and I would recommend this story to anyone who likes fantasy as much as I do.

This book is doubtless what you are looking for
I was drawn to this book by the art on the front and following a rabbit hole of a few other artists as I searched for my next read. I have found few that satisfied the hunger I hold for fantasy and lesbian literature. This book fits both exceedingly well. However it is not for the faint of heart. This book is bloody, littered with corpses of characters. However, the plot and the impossibly smooth writing makes up for it. As for the woman that reads this? Her husky eloquent tones will sooth you through the heartbreak and draw you unit the loving embrace, both. Please, give this a try!
