Publisher's summary

Now an original series starring Rosamund Pike as Moiraine!

Since its debut in 1990, The Wheel of Time® by Robert Jordan has captivated millions of readers and listeners around the globe with its scope, originality, and compelling characters.

The Wheel of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance. What was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

The seals of Shayol Ghul are weak now, and the Dark One reaches out. The Shadow is rising to cover humankind.

In Tar Valon, Min sees portents of hideous doom. Will the White Tower itself be broken?

In the Two Rivers, the Whitecloaks ride in pursuit of a man with golden eyes, and in pursuit of the Dragon Reborn.

In Cantorin, among the Sea Folk, High Lady Suroth plans the return of the Seanchan armies to the mainland.

In the Stone of Tear, the Lord Dragon considers his next move. It will be something no one expects, not the Black Ajah, not Tairen nobles, not Aes Sedai, not Egwene or Elayne or Nynaeve.

Against the Shadow rising stands the Dragon Reborn....

A Different Ending

Without giving away any spoilers I would just like to say that the ending was definitely not what I was expecting. I don't know if that's good or bad but it was definitely worth the time it took me to listen. It definitely seemed like it left a lot of things open, which I'm sure was intentional (there are no beginnings or endings to the turning off the wheel of time).

Overall, I would highly recommend the entire series.

5 Stars - what else could you give it?

When one has invested the majority of his adult life in a series, starting from 18 years old to now in the 40's, this was a culmination both sad and sweet. To give it anything less than 5 stars would be disrespectful to the characters I grew up with over the past 20 years. Thanks goes out to Sanderson for finishing what absolutely had to be finished. I could not have lived in peace wondering what happened to my childhood friends in the Wheel of Time.

Great conclusion to the Wheel of Time

It has taken me several years of on and off reading/listening to the Wheel of Time to finish it but I am thoroughly satisfied.

It feels like I'm saying goodbye to an old friend....

This book was bittersweet. I complained about about the story progression in some of the other books but now that it has come to an end I can't help but feel sad. This book has been a big part of my life and I will have to revisit it regularly like an old friend. I would recommend this book to any fantasy genre lover. Remember friends this is not the end, but a end.....

Incredible

A fabulous masterpiece for which adjectives come short. I am absolutely amazed that it is possible, that words can give such meaning and man can create this.

Loved it. Sad to see this series end.

What did you love best about A Memory of Light?

I have read the Wheel of Time series twice and have really enjoyed it. This was a great end to the story. I love the performance of Kate Reading and Michael Kramer. They are great as the voices of these characters. I can't imagine them any other way.
