What happened?

If you could sum up A Feast for Crows in three words, what would they be?

Enthralling, surprising and Fulfilling.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Tyrian the imp. I love the underdog in a story.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The voices changed from previous books which was very distracting and annoying. I had to rewind multiple times to make sure I knew which characters were speaking.

a very gripping tale

This book was one that held my attention for most of the time throughout. The characters are portrade in such a way as to draw you in. Each of the main characters had a sense of realism so that you could find something to sympathise with their position in life. I can't wait for book #5!

Amazingly done.

I appreciated all the voices by Roy Dotrice. He did a great job bringing the story to life. The story wasn't amazing can't wait to start book5!

Love this series

Just as great as the others....really enjoying these stories and all the characters. I simply cannot imagine how George RR Martin keeps such a complicated plot straight but he does.

Entirely Underrated

Somehow the fourth book has become regarded as the black sheep of the Game of Thrones family. I suppose I can understand why: No dragons, no Tyrion, no wall in the north.

People missed those things and I get it. But to say what Martin did focus on was just meandering or lesser than what he's done with the rest of the books is quite frankly false. It's an excellent and engaging story that will keep you hooked the whole way through. If you like the series this is just as strong as the rest of the books that surround it.

pronunciation

they changed the pronounced names throughout the series. I don't know if they noticed, but it throws one off on the characters.

Voices and Names should have been reviewed.

It seems as though the narrator forgot how to pronounce the names that were used in the previous books. This coupled with the the different voices he used for the same previous books made it a bit of an annoyance. You could know who was speaking in the last three books just by the accent the narrator used.

Great book and performance

Slow development at the beginning of the book as he introduces new characters. Blending into the larger picture of the great story he's telling by the end. Very enjoyable performance and book.

Not as good as the previous ones

This book was not as good as the previous ones. I still enjoyed it and I am still sticking with the series, but parts of this book dragged a bit. The other ones kept me interested the entire way through. This one had some lagging parts. I am still hopeful that the next one will be great like the others!
