Who wouldnt want to read this!!

Go Peter you are a legend mate and cracked it in this one that's for sure. The Girls are smoking hot,the guys are mega cool and the monsters and baddies are ultra nasty.Yip i could hang out on the roof knocking back Steinlagers with this crew.There has to be a follow up story Mr Clines. You did kill off the coolest character but i will forgive you just this once.

I loved the story, how the relationships developed and they form a bond. The last third of the book I found a bit silly, and I would have liked to see it take a different path.

Great story but took a while to get going

The performance was great and Ray Porter managed to make every character sound distinctly different. the actual story took a while to get started and it took several does before it approached anything interesting however once it got going it hadmy attention all the way through.

Good for the whole family

Pretty good Sci-fi story, even if it was a little predictable. We take long car trips a lot, and it can be hard to find an appropriate book that pleases everyone, but this was a good book for our family (10 year old boy, 14 year old girl) to listen to together. We had to skip a few sentences of graphic description one time. The actor does a GREAT job.

What did you like best about 14? What did you like least?

I loved the characters. They were not typical. I was a little disappointed when it switched from sci fi to fantasy, but that's just me.

What was one of the most memorable moments of 14?

The underground exploration.

What does Ray Porter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Great voices and great timing.

I did a little research on things mentioned in the book to see if anything matched up with the real world.

I don't know if anyone else has commented on this, but I think the demons are actually a reference to the flying spaghetti monster.

Best Narration Ever!

There are a lot of characters on this story and the narrator does an awesome job with each. Probably best narration performance I’ve heard in listening to hundreds of books. Ray Porter is amazing. Story is interesting and will hold your interest. Worth a credit for sure!

Loved it!

I loved this book. I bought it 2 or 3 years ago and have since listened to it at least 5 times (If not a couple more). the story is great and kept me interested every moment. Ray Porter does a great job with the voices of each character. I would (and have, many times) recommend this book.

Glad I didn’t miss this one.

I’m another person who read this book because of the reviews and I wasn’t disappointed. It was a nice break from the heavier and more intense dramas I usually read. The narrator did a great job and it was actually really funny in places. I highly recommend it.

This book was fun from start to finish. The characters were both believable and likable. I would be happy to read more....

The narrator really seemed to find the right voice for each character. The plot moved well and the story was pretty good.
