Nice shark tale.

It’s one of those corny action books. But it’s a fun read and I enjoyed the ending. There were some sweet moments.

Super Jaws

This was an outstanding book. It reminded me of a crossbreed of the Jaws and Meg series. The story had really good pacing and I found all of the characters very likable. The best way to describe Scar himself is if Jaws was on steroids. The Narrator did a good job telling the story and giving each character their own voice. All in all I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys killer shark stories.

Should become a motion picture

Very good story. Likeable and unlikeable characters. Has all the elements to a good story, suspense, irony and foreshadowing. Not a fan of the red eyes but it’s original. Story should end on a cliff hangar. Too much of a picture perfect ending. Overall great story!

Pure Entertainment!

When I read these types of books, I know exactly what I’m getting myself into. I don’t need elaborate and deep plots, nor do I need characters that will win Oscar’s. I want to be entertained and that’s what I was. Just fun, over the top, shark chomping carnage!

Good thriller shark story

Clearly was inspired by jaws and other science fiction novels but it does it very well. I listen to this on a long road trip and made time go by faster. A good listen for sure.

Narration speed is accelerated

I love books about deep sea monsters and Scar fits the bill! The narration speed sounds like it is in fast forward mode at 100% so I backed it down to 80-85% and then it sounded fine. Hope to find more similar to this book.

Good Read

This was a good book, it was a bit similar to Jaws. But it was still good.

It’s a Shark Movie in a book.

I tend to watch a lot of movies and from paragraph one I knew what I was on for. It was entertaining but predictable. It’s got all the tropes of your average B movie on SyFy channel. All in all the book wasn’t bad even if it was based of some bad movies I’ve watched over the years. I actually love B movies. It’s got a so bad it is good thing. Book delivers everything except if you know marine life SyFy doesn’t make animals they make blood thirsty insatiable monsters. It was okay is all. Cringe at times but that is cause some are intentionally bad. But it was okay. I actually have the physical copy but I wanted to skip the reading and just listen.
