A must-have book

I enjoyed this book the first time, the second time I really starting to understand the theories around money. Being able to see that money is an important way to exchange value.

Budgeting is really a lifestyle change and this audiobook provides the basics to curb wasteful spending habits & to start saving for the future.

From the mindset change to great saving tips

This book fits the current COVID-19 crisis. Due to the situation, my client had to close some contracts, and I lost my income. Being without any income after years has forced me to save money like never before.

The book helped me a lot to set my mindset. On one side, Dana Wise says, "Your money is a tool—nothing more. It doesn’t define who you are as a person, and it shouldn’t run your life." On the other side, saving $20 monthly (which is easy, e.g., skip one lunch per month) is worth a gross earning of $6,100 over 20 years.

I found practical money management tips that I will use to save on my car, household, energy consumption, and unnecessary IT and broadcast services. These expenses were pretty invisible, and I considered them to be fixed. The bonus saving form is great for creating and tracking my actions. As the book promised, there are also non-financial positive effects on my life, health, and relations.

This book put me in an entirely different way to enrich your life without needing to spend money I recommend it highly, but read the hard copy first then listen to the audible several times. Loved it. straight to the point.

Worth it!

Great book on getting your finances together and learning to be financially independent. I would recommend this book! However as there are many references to figures and it's best to do the steps as you listen to them, which is at least difficult, at most impossible to do as you drive.
