Action packed
This is a pretty good book, the female character was cringe worthy at times, but didn’t take away from the storyline much. The female narrator’s voice didn’t fit the character in my opinion; just seemed flat; narrators of previous book were better. Storyline was pretty interesting.

I wish there were more!
It was a good finish. The overall series was really good. There is a lot of unanswered questions and room for continuing the series. A little bummed it appears to be over. I can see a total book let down coming. 🫤

WTF did I just listen to?
This is my first Kyra Snow book and I was rightfully skeptical because this is a hot mess. There are really great short moments in the story that are just wonderful, but those are overshadowed by the WTF moments. There are intimate scenes in the middle of action/life threatening situations, the almost blatant copying of the movie Aliens, and confusing jumps in time (people or clothing magically disappear).
I enjoyed the series overall, but was so let down by this book. If you are a completionist, then you will be able to make it through just don't expect for it to be more than checking a box.
Narration was good. BJ Schraff has some good voices and I'll likely check out his other narrations.
