Good listen

What made the experience of listening to Wild Card the most enjoyable?

It had a good story line. different from the usual poor girl who needs to be rescued. Story was interesting and kept you quessing what was going to happen next. It was a good listen and kept my attention throughout the whole book

What other book might you compare Wild Card to and why?

This book is different from most romance books and speaks of a strong woman who is very self suffient

What three words best describe Clarissa Knightly’s performance?

She was a good reader but she needs alittle help with changing charaters.

This book was exciting and kept my attention to see what was going to happen next

I felt it was well worth the point charged and enjoyed it alot. Even though it was not the best read book I have listened to the story line carried it very well and it held your attention from the beginning to the end

yes - my fiance was killed in the line of duty - Bella's character captures the loss, the nightmares, the disbelief, the sorrow, the unwillingness to move on despite the world moving forward, Bella's is left in that house alone - most of his family forgets her - but she has to survive or she will lose what possessions she has - so she makes herself go through the motions but is never really living without him. SO CLOSE TO THE REAL THING - mear words from me can not express how this book made me feel.

YES - right a non-fiction book just like this one and modify itI am more of a technical writer - journaled but can not make a story!!!

This was a great listen. It's typical Lora, and purely enjoyable.The characters are good, story good....

The only issue I had with it at all is that it seems to follow the now very popular formula of Broken x2 = hot sex life.

A man's love for his wife while he's going thru hell.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Nathan/Noah, both sides of this man was so touching that you ache to console him.

Yes, Clarissa's performance is captivating which even drawn me into the story more.

Great book...will listen to more than once...story tugs at the heart and when that happens the author had done good.

Wow, i didn't see this book coming. It was fantastic. A real (couldn't put it down) book. Excellent story and narrator. Have all ready pre-ordered the next in this series. :)

This was a really good read, you can get into the story and just know the love that is in there hearts.

I loved that there is a good story around the couple, sex, and breaking down barriers. What women don't like a bad boy to take care of them?

Which character – as performed by Clarissa Knightly – was your favorite?

I really liked Belle, she is so strong and loyal. I liked that she found herself and decided that it was ok to be that woman.

This is the first book of 8 I believe. Right now Audible only has 2 of them, please bring the rest of the series!!!

Just one sex scene too many...story pretty good...

Clarissa Knightly can narrate a sex scene better than anyone but....Bella's highly excited voice was more like a bellow!

Lots of explicit sex but interesting and suspenseful storyline.

Excellent Book, better than 50 Shades

Where does Wild Card rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This was one of the best erotic fiction novels I've heard in a long time. It was so much better than 50 Shades to me, the characters were strong and well built. Great story line.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Wild Card?

The ongoing dynamic between the two main characters, the fierce love, protectiveness, and determination that carried them throughout the whole story, is what draws you in and keeps you wanting more.
