Blake Harrison: Rich, titled, and charming…and in need of a wife by Wednesday. Blake turns to Sam Elliot, who isn’t the businessman he expected. Instead, Blake is faced with Samantha Elliot, beautiful and feisty with a voice men call 1-900 numbers to hear.
Samantha Elliot: Owner of matchmaking firm Alliance and not on the marital menu…that is, until Blake offers her ten million dollars for a one-year contract. And there’s nothing indecent about this proposal. The money will really help with her family’s medical bills. All Samantha will need to do is keep her attraction to her new husband to herself and avoid his bed.
But Blake’s toe-curling kisses and sexy charm prove too difficult for Sam to resist. It was a marriage contract that planned for everything…except falling in love.

I just Love the Allure of a Great Romance...a Pair of Rose Colored Glasses...some Fine Wine, and a Subscription to Audible...
Wife by Wednesday: Weekday Brides, Book 1 is a fun, easy listening romance that I believe everyone will enjoy. If you would like to put a smile on your face, this listen will do it. A credit worthy romance, indeed!
This is definitely a reread. I liked the characters and the narrator. The story was quick, romantic and had funny moments. Light reading when you need a quick escape.
I am an avid listener. I listen between 75-100 hours per month on my iPhone: 60% fiction to 40% non-fiction.
I’m always a sucker for a guy gets girl; struggles to keep girl kind of story. This plot has been done in movies at least three or four times in the recent past. If you are a romantic or like fairy tales set in good old USA then this novel is for you. Bybee does an excellent job in character development given the length and depth of the plot. By the end first hour of listening, you are wondering where the rub is going to come from – is it here, there, and from who. I like the pace and the grace the Tanya Evy brings to the performance of the characters. I recommend it, it is a pretty short listen - only five hours, you won’t be disappointed.
Busy mom who loves to read but doesn't always have the time. I enjoy YA, Romance and the occasional Best Seller.
This is definitely a summer beach read or a rainy-day listen. It's short, sweet and doesn't tax your brain. It's like being in the shallow end of a pool...enjoyable but with no real depth. Luckily I was in the mood for a light and fluffy romance.
Will do anything for books!
This is a fun one! Total fairy tale, enjoyed the story and will listen again. The narrator was a bit mechanical sounding but that is all the bad I have to say about it. The story is on the shorter side, but honestly there is so often a bunch of unnecessary crap in books this one is more to the point, without all the extras. Good beginning of a fun series.
I enjoyed this fast paced audiobook. It fast-forwards events that in most longer books go into too much detail (I call filler words) and become boring, yet the crucial areas of the book are described in detail, making it interesting from start to finish.
I was happy to see less filler words used--most people can imagine an elopement to Nevada without having every detail spelled out for them, or flights to and from England on a private Jet, without every detail being drawn out.
Although the narrator did well, I think another narrator could have done better, especially during the sex scenes.
All in all, I would recommend "Wife By Wednesday" for someone wanting a light entertaining afternoon or evening.
That if you give someone time the one you thought you could not love is the one that you fall for.
They talk to each other openly and truthfully
How she change her voice

Listen on people!
I like books narrated by Tanya Eby. I like Romances. And easy listening at night before bed. This one fit all those requirements. Not the best I've listened to, but pretty much kept my attention.
This is a light, cute romantic book, the characters and the plot are well done and its very well narrated. I liked the voice of Tanya Eby so much, I will look for some more books narrated by her.
Although It has a very predictable plot the story develops nicely.
SPOILER ALERT!!! It kind of seems in a way like a famous Julia Roberts film from years ago, but not completely. I will not write which one but its pretty obvious once the story on book starts to develop.
She has a great voice, she makes all the characters come to life, and the whole book was very pleasant but definitely she cannot do british accent I have to add. But in the end for me that was not a big deal. The whole performance was very good.
When she was crying in her room and Blake goes to talk to her.
This is a very light novel, something you would like to read on vacation or for fun, its a no brainer and is just a piece of nice girl literature very well made, that never sounds outdated. Do not expect anything dense. Its very sweet and romantic.
