One of the best in the Series

I have listened to this series out of order as I read the reviews and I do not have to have a series in order. This reader does a fabulous job, but it is due to the dialogue in each of the stories. # 3,5,6 have very strong heriones with great funny lines. All the males are, beautiful,strong,and oh so sexy. None of these will disappoint. I tend to listen based on the outline. All of these had humor in every review.
I am now starting #1. Each book adds a bit to the next story in a very clerver way, I hope you will enjoy as much as I do. I can not even remember how I found these stories, maybe
on sale. What a great find on a wonderful new author for me and a wonderful new talented
reader.

Would Read Again!

My heart broke for Bowen and his seemingly unending heartbreak for his lost love
It especially broke when I got to experience his side of the Hie and how hard he viciously fought to win (works out in the end), but failed.

The tension between Mari and Bowen, Mari coming into herself and her abilities, Bowen realizing who and what he truly wanted... was such a wild ride. Not to mention the twist involving Mariah, Bowen, and Mari had my jaw actually dropping.

I highly recommend reading this one, whether you're reading this in order or just as a standalone.

As always, Robert Petkoff knocks it out of the park. If not for the storyline, read for his incredible performance.

Overall a good book

I wish a lady would have voiced the main character because it’s was cringe with the guy but he tried his best. I did find the end funny with how “you can’t fight her yet your not strong enough,” waits 5 minutes, “ok now you can fight her,” like what?! I was expected like a whole another book but they just did a three second battle and the end was anticlimactic for sure!!!

Very enjoyable.

I've been looking for other audio books with the same charm and passion as these books written by Kelsey Cole. I have yet to find a series that I love as much as these books. I hope she finishes the series. This is my third time listening to this particular book. I was actually trying to start another series by another author. But just got bored and decided to come back to something that made me feel good at the end of the story.
This book is great, entertaining, charming, passionate and definitely worth the read!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. I believe this entire series by Kresley Cole is fantastic. It transports you to another world. Each book can stand on its own, but the whole series makes for one great continuing story. This book contains everything: excellent character development, action, danger, and of course--romance. It's got all the essentials. I highly recommend this!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Bowen is my favorite character. He is so wounded and hopeless when you first encounter him. It's awesome to watch Mari bring him slowly back to life.

Have you listened to any of Robert Petkoff’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I love listening to male narrators. Duh. I'm a woman. lol. We like that deeper tone because it's attractive and makes the story even more alluring than it already is.

Eventful, sexy & original!

What did you like best about this story?

The story line is very original & cleverly written. The narrator was amazing as ussual!

Which scene was your favorite?

The dynamic between the main characters are great!. Mariketta remains an awesome & believeble character, that makes you want to pummel some sence into our beloved Bowen from time to time!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

By the second half of this story I did find this book to be a bit lacking comapred to the intensity of the previous two stories. But still very much worth the read (or listen!)

So far this series is one of the better ones available in this genre; the originality & abundant amount of very different characters in the Lore, keeps this series entertaining and fresh!

So loved it felt like I was there. Story plot very good as well and person reading it did very well
