He finds sanctuary at Bluff House, even though his beloved grandmother is in Boston recuperating from a nasty fall. Abra Walsh is always there, though. Whiskey Beach’s resident housekeeper, yoga instructor, jewelry maker, and massage therapist, Abra is a woman of many talents - including helping Eli take control of his life and clear his name. Nora Roberts does not disappoint

Fantastic story. Great narrating. Despite the fact that this story moved a little slow it was still a great book!

Excellent!

I so enjoyed listening to Luke Daniels narration of "Whiskey Beach". He did an en excellent job of narrating both male and female voices. This audiobook grabbed me from the beginning to the end. It had just enough steaminess and suspense and some lol moments too. Definitely worth a credit!! 😄

Did not like narrator, unfortunately

I think I would have enjoyed this morning reading the book. It was hard to like the main female because of the narrator

Another Decent Whodunit from Nora

The book did start out slow for me, not sure that if it was because of the narrator or if I just didn't pay close enough attention to the story. But overall was a good listen. I did figure out who the murdrer was a few chapters before they were revealed, so that was anticlimactic. I would still recommend it.

Wonderful Diversion During the Pandemic

I enjoyed this book immensely! I needed a beach vacation during the pandemic and this was as close as I could get! My only complaint was that narrator’s female voices. I felt that they made women sound frivolous and stupid. Abra Walsh, the main female character, was an educated and interesting woman with a penchant for New Age things, however the narrator’s portrayal of her made her come off more as a silly young girl all at times. Narration of the male voices was fine.

I loved the book but...

I loved the book but I hated narraitors "women'" voice oh so much!

Would it be so hard or expensive to invite two male and female narrators to read a book?..

Luke Daniels

I disliked the character "Abra". I think Mr Daniels made her sound unbelievable as a female and Nora Roberts wrote her character sound pushy, know it all , and was into everybody,s business weather she was asked or not. Her take charge attitude would never make any man attractive to her as she treated him like a child. Do to that. I usually enjoy Ms Roberts books this one left me disappointed.
